"Hey, give it a try. I'm pretty sure I'm not actually as good as dodging as I've been lately. Though different forms, so I dunno. But guess that's the point, you never know with this place."

Kyle nods.
"Sure thing man."

"Thanks, dude. So, put the bricks on top of the gap in the bottom layer. Make sure we got plaster on it first, though."
The man in the mask mutters something incomprehensible.
"Or mortar, whatever."

As you stand up, you notice a persistent blinking on your wrist device:
Room cleared. +1 exp.

"...one Experience Point? One?! Goddamnit, adventuring sucks."

Well, if the room was cleared...Rolep tries the locked door one more time.

Propman reaches for in hindsight his quite unsafely holstered shotgun, double checks to make sure it remains loaded, and trails behind Armach as he steps into the mist, the faint scent of some cholride product laden in the air, a bit like a public pool.

As you stand up, you notice a persistent blinking on your wrist device:

Well, if the room was cleared...Rolep tries the locked door one more time.

You turn the handle on the door, and find that it opens into a more dimly-lit room. It seems to be yet another chamber of Gothic architecture, though circular as opposed to rectangular. Scattered about are long, heavy-looking tables covered in various paraphernalia, as well as cabinets arranged against the walls. On some of these sit lanterns of indiscernible working, which provide the room's dim light. In the center you see a figure, next to a large rectangular box and wearing some kind of all-covering garment (a coat, or a robe, or maybe even a poncho: it's hard to say) and a strange, very wide-brimmed hat. It's hard to tell, but you think this person has their back to you, and seems to by crying over the box.
