The glowing strips on the wall catch Iton's attention and with no word he moves toward them, almost mesmerized by their light in the pitch black darkness. He thinks they may have some importance of some sort but doesn't say anything but his movement toward them is definitly noticed by everyone

HugoLuman follows Iton as he leaves the lasertag area to look at the glowing strips back along the arcade wall. "Where you going, kid?" asks Quasar.

They follow the stripe to the other hallway, with only its faint greenish glow and the light of the wisp (still hovering near Quasar, sitting on Iton's shoulder) to see by. As they walk through it, they see the hall has 4 doorways, 2 on each side, and the line leads all the way to the end of the hall and into the second doorway on the right

Fortunately, the room is small enough, about 11x11, that the small circle of wisp-light dimly illuminates most of it. There does seem to be a fuse box, a large cabinet in the back, but perhaps more interesting is the generator sitting next to the wall.

(Yeah, he'll be puppeted. You'll probably have to do the rolls, though.)

((Incidentally, it may be a good idea to not have the party spread across the building when it is, though I'll let people just say they followed us in here, since it would make sense for them to do so.))

Iton looks for a switch.
If he finds one he turns it on.

He does, a turn-switch akin to a car starter, and the generator begins to hum. It comes to life slowly, taking about a minute before it really starts thrumming, and another minute before anything seems to change in the building. Lights begin to flicker on throughout the building, not many and leaving it still very dim, but no longer pitch black. Everything seems to be taking a bit to warm up.

Suddenly, from the room across the hall from the generator, comes the jarring sound of a phone ringing, echoing throughout the still mostly dead-silent building. It rings for about 30 seconds before a reedy male voice begins speaking from voice mail. "Uh, hello? Hello? Well, if you're hearing this, you should really follow the sound of my voice and get in this room..."

Kevak and Prophet, standing out front, dimly hear the phone ring inside for about 10 seconds before bars slide down over the windows and the door, blocking their entry.
