Normally, he would have started explaining how he could tie his shoes at least. Or groan at the bad pun. Or he'd try to keep a straight face in a serious situation. But for some reason, this time, HugoLuman just laughed.

[Zanzetkuken The Great]

"Well," Zanzetkuken said, after getting her composure together after laughing at the pun.  "At least I have my rifle, so I might be able to get to level 2 if the room after the scepter room is combat.  Might even score a few kills because of my class ability if it is that.  I know will get to second level if it's intellect-based.  Anyone mind if I use them as a crutch?  I don't want to put any weight on this leg, and Arc needs the scepter for the injuries he's bearing, plus my gun's barrel folds down to reload it."

[McDonald]

McDonald looks around and tilts his head.

"Did you hear that?"

[BlitzDungeoneer]

"...hear what?"
Blitz readies his 'faked' knives.
"These things have almost run out, by the way. I'll need to make a new pair soon."

[SOLDIER First]

SB hands Zanz his air rifle, which conveniently doesn't fold; a separate handle does.
It's rather short for someone of her height to use, though.

[McDonald]

"I heard a muffled scream... Probably just my imagination."

[WillowLuman]

(It is only 4 rooms away, but one of those rooms is part of an outdoor space.)

"Before we go through any more rooms, I'd like to retrieve my weapons. And shoes. Actually," HugoLuman went over to one of the dead cultists to check for viable footwear. "We'll need to boost someone up there to reattach the chain. SB, how's your upper body strength?"

[SOLDIER First]

SB thinks for a moment.
"I could probably pull myself up if I had a boost, yeah."

[WillowLuman]

Damn. Crappy suede slippers. Still, their stockings might make a good replacement for my socks. Done searching for now, HugoLuman got up and got in position to boost. "Alright, ready?"

[SOLDIER First]

SB gets into position as well.
"Yup."

[Zanzetkuken The Great]

Zanzetkuken moved a fair distance away, after she was given the air rifle.  It had been slightly difficult to get up, but she managed.  She then asked, "We had to attach it to the knife last time, and, well, that didn't work.  What are we going to use to attach it?"

[GentlemanRaptor]

GentlemanRaptor raises his rifle and looks around, warily.

"Goddammit McDonald you're gonna give me a heart attack. Now did you or did you not hear something?"

[SOLDIER First]

"Really, we don't totally need the chain. In The Last of Us, Joel would boost Ellie up and then she would help him onto the ledge too. We could just do that."

[WillowLuman]

HugoLuman boosts him up. "Except, do you think you can lift a 180 pound man? Plus, these two might need some help now. If we had something less rigid, we could tie links together with it and it would probably hold."

[SOLDIER First]

SB grasps at the ledge for a moment, before pulling himself onto it.
"I don't think you'd let yourself get yanked up like a ragdoll, Hugo. You would brace on the wall with your leg, but.. You're right. Arc and Zanz can't do shit with their legs.."
