You nearly make it to the cave's mouth, you see a ledge with light coming out. You only have to climb that ledge to escape. Then your torch goes out, and without it you can't move forward, due to the hazards ahead. Fortunately, the torch went out at the best possible time, because the unicorn ran in just as soon as it did

It walks on the air like earth as it slowly searches for you. It is constantly looking, and constantly smelling. It cannot see you, but it can smell you, actually, your weapon it can smell. You have some time to plan, but not much. It will find you, and it will finish the job once it does. You stole what it guarded, and used it against it, and because of that, it's personal.

Ah. I wasn't sure whether we were running from the unicorn or from something else. If the unicorn is the thing we are running from, never mind this plan.

You decide to brave the rain and try to find your way to the nearest town. The heavy rains have washed away whatever evidence there may have been of a path in these deep woods, so it's all up to chance whether or not you actually find a way out of here.. [Luck Check: 97] You wander for hours, but you can't seem to find a highway. Luckily, at least, the unicorn seems to have decided not to pursue. Likely it was wise enough to stay out of the cold.

Despite the coat, which is unfortunately made of dyed linen and not leather, the rain quickly soaks you to the bone. [Endurance Check: 68] You're suddenly wracked by a fit of chills. You start shivering violently. It's making it hard to keep moving, you can barely concentrate because of how uncomfortable you are.

You need to do something quick, or you'll shortly succumb to the elements.

BACK STORY
Felix was an orphan as a result of the Third War, a war which ravaged the entire world of Evrar, having both his parents killed, one in battle, the other during an invasion. During her last moments, his mother told him to 'hide'. And so he did, running away and hiding in a cave for several years, until eventually he decided to explore it more deeply, finding a weapon which constantly shifted forms, and a unicorn in the depths of the cave. Upon picking up the weapon, the unicorn awakened, and almost killed him, although he barely managed to survive. Felix eventually left the cave, and searched for civilisation, eventually finding it. He found a nomadic tribe of humans, who practiced much magic and never stayed in one place for very long, usually no more than a week. He stayed with them for many years, learning quite a bit of magic, as well as fighting with the lance form of the Everchanging Weapon as he called it. He left after living for 25 years with the tribe, and is currently in the East, travelling from town to town for no apparent reason.

APPEARANCE
A fairly old man, with fairly large muscles. He has a long beard, as well as freakishly long eyebrows in the shape of a beard. His hair is a shining white, and wrinkles cover most of his body. His eyes are purple, without any pupils whatsoever. His skin is pale, almost white, and his face looks average, save for the wrinkles.

He is wearing long black pants, and a black shirt. Over this, he is wearing a purple trenchcoat, fairly odd if you think about it.
