Quest System

Can someone explain the new Quest system? I was still learning in the last update and now I have no idea what to do/where to find people. Expect me to change the name of this and use it as a question thread, as I still am a newb to DF. (I understand the basics, etc).

In the new version the only "quests" available are the orders a Lord or a Lady gives you sometime when you are their hearthperson and ask them about hearthperson duty.
Half of the time they will not give you any order and will just tell you to "enjoy peace"
When you actually recieve one of those quests, you'll see them after pressing Q then a (agreements)

What seems to be supposed to replace the actual quests is when you have someone telling you there's a night creature/undead/megabeast/etc... that needs killing and tell you where it is (and you must ask where is the location exactly or it will not even appear on the world map)
Then it's up to you to go there and deal with whatever monster is there, but don't expect anything from the guy that told you that, all you'll get is the "it was inevitable" as a reply.

Well, it's not yet really working or is very incomplete for now.

Thanks for the help, makes sense now. Wondered why they didn't care about a cleared bandit camp.

As it would seem, killing more and better bandits and monsters will eventually let you become a hearthsperson. I find it likely that if you do it enough and found a country, you might even get other civilizations to pay homage to yours.
