During these battles, you will gain experience. You can then convert this experience into knowledge that may aid you in the fields. The more you do, the more experienced you may become. Looks like all of you are decently experienced. Let's see what you wish to choose..."

+10 mana regen per turn
+10 max health
+ 2 health regen per turn

You also all have 1 spell point. However, your choices vary for every person.

"Ah, excellent. I can see these games will be interesting. Now, to choose your equipment. Here is 1000 gold for each of you. There are several shops down that tunnel. Once you have spent all your gold, or simply are done shopping, return here to me."

You all grab a levitating pouch of gold out of the air, and walk over towards the shops. There are conveniently placed signs above the shops: One has a wand, One has a robe, and One has a sword.

Magic Weapons:
Wand: 1.2x magic damage, 1x melee damage. 500 gold.
Opulent Wand: 1.5x magic damage, 1x melee damage. 1000 gold.
Brilliant Wand: 2x magic damage, 1x melee damage. 2500 gold.

Magic Equipment:
Apprentice Robe: +25 total mana, +5 mana regen. 500 gold.
Adept Robe: +50 total mana, +10 mana regen. 1000 gold.
Mage Robe: +120 total mana, +20 mana regen. 2500 gold.

Non-Magical Armaments:
Iron Sword: 1x magic damage, 1.5x melee damage. 500 gold.
Enchanted Sword: 1x magic damage, 2x melee damage. 1000 gold.
Iron armor: +10 max health. 500 gold.
Enchanted armor: +25 max health. 1000 gold.

Not everything is affordable this time around. Maybe after earning money in the tournament, you can buy more?

If wearing both iron armor and apprentice robe isn't possible, buy adept robe.
