Pendle tries to stabilize himself. Once he's back on his feet, he takes a look around, trying to find any possible means of exit besides the door that almost nommed him.
"How the fuck am I still alive?"
"You're welcome. And we just lost our EVAer. Seems like CO is a doomed position. Dibs on not being next CO. Anyway, let's seal up and get the fuck out of here."
Get internal air supplies, seal suit and helmet, grab a "spaceball", ditch one belt of ammo if I need to so I am not over the load limit.
"Good, because I don't intend to die and give anybody the chance."
I am right the fuck behind you. Let's load up and get the fuck out.
Get internal air supplies and seal up.
Get internal air supplies and seal up. And get one of the B-911s
"So Once we open the door whats the plan?"
"Not sure. I don't have any EVA experience. I suppose we try to find a less explody bit of the station to jump onto and reenter. Shame Ash is now decorating the hall a lovely shade of red. Has anybody else done any extravehicular work before?"
"Who said we have to EVA? We could probably stick to the inside of this ship and get to an air closet. Or maybe kill the fuckers that did this and take their ship."
"Well I don't think their going to let us just sit in a air closet and I don't feel like going for a space walk."
"Who said we have to EVA? We could probably stick to the inside of this ship and get to an air closet. Or maybe kill the fuckers that did this and take their ship."
"Alright. Let's try that."
Try that
"Yep dying in a gun fight sound a lot better then dying in the cold of space."
I was drafted to die in gunfights, not to explosively decompress. I'm in.
Long story short, everyone seals up their suits, checks their air levels and gets ready, with Mason and Eava grabbing a spaceball each, with Mason also discarding half his ammo supply inorder to carry one. Meanwhile they all start arguing about the best course of action, something cut short by the opening of the door, revealing a pair of purple-suited humanoids, who, judging from their stance, are surprised to see people still up.
Combat rolling time!Baddie 1:(targeting=3) 6+2(agility)-1(luck)-1(surprise)
Baddie 2:(Targeting=1) 1+2-1-1
Tom:(targeting=1) 3-1(luck)
Eava:(targeting=2) 6-1(luck)
Jon:(targeting=1) 3+2(agile)
Mason:(targeting=2) 4+2(agile)-1(heavy gun)+2(strength)
I swear the targeting was random...
As for the numbers, strength is called in for shooting big heavy guns, agility is reactions, luck is just about everything...
Baddie 1, reaction 1:5+2 (agile)-1(luck)=6(pass(2))
Baddie 2, reaction 1:3+2(agile)-1(luck)=4(fail(5))
Baddie 1, reaction 2:6+2-1=7(pass(5))
Baddie 2, reaction 2:1+2-1=2(fail(7))
Tom:1-1 (luck)=0(fail(1))
Jon:5+2 (agile)=7(pass(6))
Baddie 2, one:6=boom, headshot
Baddie 2, two:2=right arm
Baddie 2, three:2=right arm
Tom:4=right leg
Everyone starts shooting at everyone else, with Baddie One firing at Jon, Baddie Two firing at Tom, Tom and Jon both firing at One and Mason and Eava firing at Two, who immediately looses his head and his arm from the fire(particularly his arm), while the only hits on the squad is Tom's right leg. Hell, I think he dodged into that bullet. Needless to say, Baddie Two wont be fighting again.
Round twoBaddie One:3+1(endurance)=pass
Tom:2+1 (strength)+1(endurance)=pass
Baddie one gets over the death of his compatriot and starts firing, even as everyone else (including Tom) starts shooting at him.
Baddie One:(targeting:3)1+2-1
Tom:2-1-1(shot)
Eava:2-1
Jon:6+2
Mason:5+2-1+2
Baddie1,1:3+2(agile)-1(luck)=4(pass(0))
Baddie1,2:5+2-1=6(pass(1))
Baddie1,3:6+2-1=7(Fail(
)
Baddie1,4:1+2-1=2(Fail(7))
Jon:2+2=4(pass(2))
Baddie1 one:1 chest
Baddie1 two:6 BOOM,headshot
Baddie1 three:5 left leg
Jon manages to land a burst in the guys chest, even as he dodges a burst from him. Meanwhile, Mason procedes to lace the guys body with rounds, pulping his head and left leg. Woah.
