Oh hey, I might get this one. I haven't actually been able to play any of the other Persona games because of my age at the time.

Looks like you literally transform into personas now. That's pretty interesting.

Also looks like they're using the SMT system where you can equip both guns and a melee weapon at the same time.

And combat sequences have you standing around the enemy in a circle.

Igor still making more clone babies.

The Velvet room this time is a prison.

Still not getting it until 14 years in the future when there's an emulator.

Should be some good music.  Like the music that the Persona games kick out.

I see the stench of "Well the previous game did it" has started to creep in... with another mascot character.

You know... when Persona 4 did it, it was rather novel and in fact quite interesting.

When Persona 5 does it, it feels obnoxious... with the anime influences starting to creep in.

Though this is still Persona and the same people who made plenty of other good games. So I am sure that in spite everything it will still be good.

We are succeeding. You can tell, because the Oxford English Dictionary made an emoji word of the year.

The previous VA died awhile back. It's why he didn't have any new lines for so long.

I am aware; there was some talk at the time of whether they'd be retiring the character, and they repurposed his lines from his previous VA work for a couple games in the interim.  I'm just noting that the new Igor voice is very different from the old one. ^_^
