Selina slowly nods, shaking a little from hearing this as she turned to leave with the two.
"Wh-what exactly… d-d-did you see…?"
"It's a bit hard to put into context," Rita says nonchalantly as the three of you head out of the basement, Lynn waving goodbye to Hadrian as he pokes his head out from what looks like a protective screen. "But it felt kind of scary."
"She's asking me, you dumb bitch," says Lynn. "I don't really remember the precise details, but it was kind of like one of those funny afterlife experiences you get when you're clinically dead. I think I saw Satan or something. She was funny. Looked like my grandma back when she was young and hot."
"You're joking. I can tell, since it's not funny at all," Rita looks at Lynn unamusedly.
"Oh, fuck you. She used to be totally hot. Now, I think she talked to me about something. Can't really remember what, though. Something about destiny or whatever. Sounded really dramatic, I recall."
"No, I guess not."
Kyle silently tries to make the doctor forget that his shoes are tied. Might as well see if he can make other people forget things.
You look at the doctor, and he momentarily goes out of focus, but then your head starts to hurt a bit and you wince, and he looks normal again. You look at his shoes. They seem to look pretty tied still, and he doesn't seem to mind this at all.
