You can always draw it. It's on of those things where it is an IDENTIFICATION mark you have. So we use that instead of having to go back to siegel rings or stamps.

I kinda like stamps though. Like I see one in Game of Thrones or some other fantasy series and I'm like "That's badass, I want to seal all my letters like that from now on".

I use it for signing my name, but I don't write in cursive at all otherwise.

Mostly because I kinda sorta skipped the grade where we learned cursive. But also because my handwriting sucks.

im not entirely sure what kinda sorta means

I have a learning difficulty so I always print when I write. I never use "joined-up" as it were otherwise it would be illegible.

this topic has turned out extremely interesting with the discussions of peoples writing styles i better share some of mine

when i write if i start out small i tend to get larger fairly quickly also im a poor judge of if something will fit on the line so i often have to squash the last word quite a bit

I had difficulty writing for a long time and cursive really didn't help (it doesn't help that cursive is... completely outdated... and I know people say "but for speed" but there are faster methods of writing that are more legible then cursive... which was made to conserve ink) and to this day I still can't cursive write properly.

But the funny thing is that NO ONE can write in cursive. I have never EVER seen someone with proper cursive. Everyone has their own spin on several letters (N and M especially). Actually look at the gibberish people use for signatures.

Though I can see why, Cursive doesn't follow uniform rules.

So today when I cursive I just make up letters, and it is totally legit.

How is mine, on a 1 (why are you making random lines on a paper) to 10 (wow such readable much impossible) scale?

I use print if I have to handwrite something, or there is no computer nearby.  Otherwise I just use a keyboard.  Perfect handwriting, easy, fast, and if I need to I can change how it looks later.
