Suppose I should post in here. Dropped in a bit, tried to be cool, ended up getting killed by buildings. :P

I'll be back though, and not as a guest!

Yes, it's a lot of fun in MP, the gameplay is simple, fast paced (though in the city map it can take a while to locate the smaller titans) enough to deliver some fun session even for those that do not have too much time to stick in.

And i don't know how the netcode is working, but it has impressed me in how whatever the ping, it feels like you're having no lag.
I had tried to join server from the other side of the world and still could play without noticing lag despite i had a higher ping.

It's rather simple. You register an account, and there will be a Change Guild Name button on the left upon Login. Click, write in name, and voila, it will show up whenever you go MP.
On that note, what features would you want to see in this game?

On a random server, it was running the Trost map in which you need to protect the Titan Eren until he can bring the giant boulder to close the hole in the wall.

Lucky we had some good player there, as there was a nasty crawler in the way and they took care of it (i never managed so far to kill a single crawler, they're always the death of my characters when i try to attack them).
Managed to bring down a small titan on the path, and our Titan stayed alive until he reached the wall and we won the day

Crawlers are awful. The easiest way to beat them is to wait until they belly-flop and then jump on their nape and hope they don't start moving before you slash them. That or transform into Eren's titan form and kick them in the face.

In other news, I found the exact changes between Hard mode and Normal. In Hard mode, on top of there being more abnormals, titans will use that hard-to-dodge double-swing slam attack a lot more often (I HATE that attack), turn toward you much, much faster after an attack, and in general react more quickly to kill you.

In Normal I can typically defeat a large number of titans before dying, if not all of them. In Hard? Ha. I'm lucky if I get four.

The two most awful things in this game: crawlers, and that double swing attack.
... and Annie. But she's a special case.

In Abnormal every titan is an aberrant and even if you launch yourself into orbit with your maneuver gear you'll see a titan chomp missile fly at you at lolspeed. If you don't keep changing course in mid-air you will also find that they are frighteningly accurate.

Bloody jump snappers.

Which is much more doable in a forest setting (With proper application of trust you can pretty much spin around a tree indefinitely) but in the city? Heh. GL HF

EDIT: Anyone feel like a b12 multi server?

On a side note, who has joined the Twelfth Bay so far?

You know, I just realised it'd be possible to have a 24/7 server on this.
Also, hosting a game. Anybody wanna join me?

Does setting a guild name do anything (out of visual above name ingame) ?

I mean i entered
Bay12 then noticed the selected name was Twelfth Bay so i changed it into that

And didn't noticed anything, no listing of existing member or whatever guild page ?

I can't get past the second tutorial where you're suppose to double hook those two platforms. I keep picking up too much speed and being flung into space.

Try hooking the platform in midair as you fly over it. You won't overshoot that way :p

Nope. Something I would like to see in the next update is a better guild system.

You could just not let go until you're wherever it is you want to be.
