Several sources imply it as a fool-proof tactic, albeit combat use might be a tad more complicated...

12. An Unfortunate Turn

You tip over and roll the barrel o' Pat at the bandanna guy, but he quickly catches the barrel and tosses it aside.


Before you know it, he's pushing you against the wall and forcing his rope around you, tying a knot to restrain your arms. You struggle, but he's just too strong. Lora takes out a huge book and tries slamming it on the bandanna guy's head...


...but bandanna guy dodges and the book hits you instead! Ow.
The last thing you remember is Lora's horrified expression and the triumphant laughter of the bandanna guy, before everything goes black.


...


You wake up in a dark room. Your hands and feet are tied up, making it difficult to do much. You're thirsty, you have a headache, and the walls seem to be moving. Maybe that's just your headache. Also, most of your items are missing.


You hear muffled voices talking outside, followed by laughter. Suddenly, a nearby barrel starts rumbling. The lid comes off and Pat pops out. He looks at you, confused.


What do you do?
