Weirdest Creature you modded.

Post the weirdest creatures you ever made. I'd like to get a whole conglomerate of these for 0.40. RAWS would be appreciated. :p

I haven't made it yet, but I was wondering if anyone has made a two headed vampire? That might be funny. But then I guess its just a being that gets two chances to suck blood since it has one stomach or entity bracket that takes the blood... does anyone know if there is a guide on vampire sustenance, is it just the heart organ needing to be functional for the entity you make to not die as a vampire? Oh I will ask this on the entity thread.

 I don't remember the specifics, but I made a creature with several extra limbs and blood that caused necrosis on contact with something's skin. Surprisingly, it was less useful that I thought.

I made a fleshy abomination that was a ball with 6 limbs.  The limb attachments were set to melt upon the first adventurer or fort interaction, but not for a few RL seconds.  Then, the creature would raise the limbs, which were actually composed of full bodies, sans the vital tags ([head][UB][LB]).

I made some really lovecraftian HFS some time ago. One of these being just a BASIC_1PARTBODY with a squirming mass of tentacles (actually 12, since the game wouldn't allow for hundreds easily) with mouths and teeth at each end, and blood that rots every single part of your body. Those are going to be really Fun, when I put in [ATTACKFLAG_INDEPENDENT_MULTIATTACK].

Another one is basically Ramiel from Evangelion.  An octahedron made out of defined from scratch material that's as dense as platinum.  It is just massively OP with its body-slam attack (it sends dwarves flying across rooms), along with slashing and piercing attacks (since it's a perfect octahedron and has razor-sharp edges).

A creature I'm working on now is a sort of super dwarf with iron skin and steel bones. And burning hot blood. I haven't gotten it quite right yet, but when I'm done it ought to be pretty damn strong. As is, it can take down a bronze colossus, although only because it has a bunch of natural combat ability.

Its main weakness it the fact that it still bleeds and it's insides are still meat (including nerves). Mind you, you'll need steel to actually cut the skin and candy if you want to do anything significant to the bones. Also, it punches like a truck and moves really fast, and it's blood causes problems (or at least, is supposed to). It's still pretty heavily in testing, so it isn't quite where I want it. I'm thinking of giving it a few interactions as well at some point, just because Armok is a testy kind of god.

Haven't yet modded anything very weird but planning do so. Actually I have idea for a very weird eldritch abomination and I mean, eldritch abomination. Something which could be resembling putrid mass of whirling and screaming people bodies... With mouths and other orifices in wrong places, eyes, limbs. Bleeding strange icky liquids... Oh, dear Armok! It will be beautiful...

A long time ago, when I was first learning how to mod, I started making a bunch of weird alien things. the only thing I got to work how I wanted was a "tentacle parasite" that was just like a big octopus thing with three mouths and 10 arms. it also had two "stinger" arms that could impregnate a foe, turning them into a "spawner" that creates three more parasites. I was thinking of that Ridley Scott movie when i made it... The infected dwarves also get a bunch of fevers and nausea before they transform, the idea being that they would sit in your hospital for a while and then you'd have this epidemic of awful creatures burst out of it. It was really gross... I was really proud I got that to work.
Another thing that I made around that time was a kind of hivemind alien civ, where the queen thing sits in your fort and gives all your guys an att boost when you feed it corpses, but it will start killing everyone if you stop feeding it. I got the interactions down, I just lost interest before I could fine tune the times and stuff.

The weirdest are definitely the ones before I properly learned how to set materials, and basically ended up with creatures made of nothing, causing any attack to just pass through their body like feathers.

I THINK that is what made my first attempt at the Thoht so tough. They were intended to be really tall humanoids with only leather armor (supposed to be made from the skin of their own dead, they had cannibalism enabled and such but I never got that to work), twohanded weapons (which they could dual wield) and really strong regeneration.
In the original concept they weren't supposed to be super hard hitting or tough to kill, in fact they were supposed to be agile guerilla fighters, relying on their regen to put them back in the fight after they got injured and fell back, but because of above issue they ended up being nigh unkillable death gods who would literally enter forts by SWIMMING UP THE MAGMA CANNON.

I should try and dig up my old raws, but I might have deleted them. I had things like syndromes added to sandstone to turn nearby creatures into dragons, armies of serrated discs, animate trousers, war-trainable yetis, and a Robocob semi-megabeast. Not to mention countless other mundane rocks, metals, reactions, and buildings, none of which worked properly.

I am ashamed to say that I have never created from my own mind anything particularly weird for DF.  I have, however, implemented several very weird things from elsewhere.  The weirdest by far are those from the Mario series in general and the RPGs in particular.

These include but are not limited to:

A four-eyed dog that devours its prey whole, sprays dust that shuts off a creature's brain without killing them (which prevents you from using physical attacks but not magic), and is weak against lightning

A walking carrot that turns people into mushrooms by ringing a bell, among other status effects, and attacks by glaring at the target and ripping them up with telekinesis (I found a civ whose queen was turned into one of these by an angry god)

A cake that, when eaten at a party, spawns a murderous cake monster who attacks with freezing ice wind and a razor sharp sawblade

A secret that allows the one who learns it to turn corpses into various kinds of animated puppets who then build a tower

There are plenty of others, but I think those are the weirdest.
