Stargazer was loath to interrupt Redshirt's holy seizures or Starn's holy combustion.  Despite their extremely untrustworthy appearance, they seemed otherwise on-the-level considering their apparent dedication, and she thought them thus deserving of their repose.

Stargazer did, however, search for any boons they may have dropped.  They weren't that trustworthy, and she felt they may misuse them.

Sweep his legs, get up, then curb stomp!

[Leg Sweep: You vs. Goop Man 1: 5 vs. 5]

Your attempts at a leg sweep are sadly fruitless, as the goop man merely steps away, preparing to charge!

[Lizard vs. Goop Man 1: 3 vs. 1-->3]

But at that moment, the lizard plunges into his abdomen, exiting through the other side with a token in its mouth! As if in response, the goop man collapses, its lower half disintegrating into a vague gooey mess within moments! You realize that this is your chance!

[You vs. Goop Man 1: 6-->6 vs. 1-->2]

You leap on the goop man and stomp him into bits, which you then stomp into tinier bits, which you then smear all over the floor, only pausing to retrieve another token of gray! Your lizard, meanwhile, spits its token of gray at you as well, leaving a sizable stain on your back as it peels off. You claim it anyway.

Current tokens of gray: 7!
Affluence rating: securely not a vagrant!

Ok, now kill the Smile. Kill it with TANDI.

[TANDI vs. Dreaded Smile: 6-->5+1 vs. 2]

You lift up TANDI, and it immediately snatches the slightly disoriented Dreaded Smile, pulling it inside its shell. Horrible noises ensue from within, followed by grim silence as the tentacles of TANDI resume their standard ready position once more. Hooray! Now the staircase leading down is free for your enjoyment, and you may drink from the Festering Pits of Sin without fear!

Nberi, for her part, lifts her hand up, seemingly desiring a high five.

They haven't dropped anything, you notice - Starn is still clutching the smoking gun he got from the Angel of Arms, and Redshirt seems to be doing something similar with a large golden brick-like object.

Stargazer descends a level to the next walkway.  She then waits for the glorious star being to come near and asks it for permission to ride on it.  If it doesn't object, Stargazer climbs on it and rides it across the walkway.

High five Nberi and go take a drink from the Festering Pit of Sin. One Drink. ONE!

You walk over to the Festering Pit of Sin and have a sip of that delicious iniquity. It is just as delicious as the FACTS showed them to be, and you feel the power of freedom flow into you!

It is indeed freedom - the FACTS support this! And now you, through the power of your mind, are a natural attractor of wealth - from all things shall flow a steady stream of gold, and toward you it will gravitate - sometimes more quickly, depending on your effort of will! And it is with this FACT that you may now trudge onward, TANDI and Nberi along with a steady supply of FACTS and the power of distilled greed accompanying you!

Stargazer descends a level to the next walkway.  She then waits for the glorious star being to come near and asks it for permission to ride on it.  If it doesn't object, Stargazer climbs on it and rides it across the walkway.

You descend to the level of the slug, and wait for it to come closer.

...

With how slowly it moves, you expect this will take a while.

What other goop men groups are up for fighting?

One group of four normal goop humanoids observing the area, and one group of one giant twice your size and two smaller humanoids along with it. Strangely, further goop men do not seem to be appearing just now.

Pick up lizard and throwing at Mongo, the giant goop man who I just named right about now

[Your accuracy roll: 1-->6]

You hurl the lizard at Mongo, but severely undershoot your mark. Mongo, perplexed, looks at the lizard, which immediately charges.

[Lizard vs. Mongo: 6-->6 vs. 6-->3]

The lizard immediately scrambles up his leg and buries its maw into the right hip, extending a set of spikes immediately to complicate removal. Mongo panics and grabs the lizard, and with his great strength immediately pulls it out!

Much to his chagrin, though, the lizard seems to have a token of gray in its mouth. Mongo's mouth makes a soundless "oh" before his left leg completely dissolves.

[Mongo's balance roll: 5]

He remains standing there for a moment, lizard in hand, before he looks at you, probably not thinking happy thoughts. Pointing at you with the lizard, he gives the order for his two fellows to commence a charge.

[Small Goop Man 1 vs. You: 6-->1-1+1 vs. 1-->2+1]

The first goop man charges straight at you, and with a single punch of his small fist manages to pierce straight through your guts, his hand coming out the other side. Blood begins pouring out of the hole where the hand appears to be, though it seems to also be quite stuck in place as the silvery stuff closes in around it. You guess that's sort of lucky, in a way.

[Your endurance roll: 4]

Not that it doesn't hurt to a horrific degree anyway, of course.

[Small Goop Man 2 vs. You: 3-1+1 vs. 4+1-1]

The other goop man charges in a similar manner, though he merely seeks to punch you in the face - fortunately, he misses as you tilt your head a tiny smidgen.

Onwards to the next area.

You move on to the Unholy Chambers of Satiation, sensing loot that way, and the FACTS corroborate this idea.

Once you reach inside, you observe several things. Firstly, the whole place is arranged a little bit like a dinner table, with giant bowls and plates of gray goop placed all around the place, with no walls around the area or a ceiling - just the floor and the things on it, suspended in darkness! Secondly, one group of men of goop, two small and one twice as large a regular person, the two small ones fighting Barry Goldstein, rather successfully, one might add, since one of them appears to have punched their hand right through his steeled abdomen - a wound that will prove fatal within minutes should the goop man be killed or his hand otherwise removed. Thirdly, a Coffee/Rum machine and one of the Gray Snack Machines, both of which are here to provide you with some form of sustenance, though the latter needs tokens of gray to operate. Fourthly, four gray goop men sitting on the edge of a bowl and observing all of this.

Speaking of, you sense that there are valuable tokens of gray inside the goop men. One in the small ones, two in the normal ones, and three more in the large one with the missing leg. One is in the mouth of Barry's Biological Attack Platform. You feel a strange attraction to these tokens, as if they were an extension of yourself, in a way, attached to you via some invisible string.

"HEAR THE WORDS OF RADIX THE OMNISCIENT! WELCOME TO THE UNHOLY CHAMBERS OF SATIATION! TEN TOKENS OF GRAY BUY YOU AN EXIT! LESS BUY YOU SOMETHING FROM THE SNACK MACHINE! COFFEE/RUM IS FREE! I'M SURE YOU CAN FIGURE OUT THE REST!"

Stargazer waits for it to come closer.

You're going to be waiting for quite a while, needless to say. It is starting to slowly come your way, though.

Go to the sin pits.

In the Festering Pits of Sin, you find the burning form of Starn Gundar and the epileptic shape of Redshirt on the top floor, Stargazer waiting for the slug bus on the floor right below, and a staircase bringing you down to the Festering Pits of Sin themselves on the bottom floor.

"HEAR THE WORDS OF RADIX THE OMNISCIENT! DRINK FROM THE FESTERING PITS OF SIN AND GAIN POWERS BEYOND YOUR HUMBLEST DREAMS! OR DO NOT, AND PROCEED ALONG WITHOUT THEM!"

I want those tokens. Use my greed powers to attract them to me. Failing that, help kill the large goop man with TANDI and Nberi.

Starn's ghost which is slowly drifting away from this realm decides to try to shove his body into the pits of sin and see what happens.
