Stargazer bows deeply to the presumably sapient head and eye.  She then begins to speak excitedly.

"GREETINGS to you, wondrous creatures of the STARS!  We have come at the behest of the Great Radix.  May we bask in your GLORIOUS PRESENCE?  We have MUCH to learn from one another!"

This does not seem to be the case.

Stargazer bows deeply to the presumably sapient head and eye.  She then begins to speak excitedly.

The head doesn't acknowledge your presence, blinking and flapping its mouth slowly and dumbly.

"Hey... is there anybody IN there?"  She looks a little disappointed.

Then she sees the note.  "Well, perhaps this paper sheds some light on how we can best communicate."  She very slowly reaches over and takes the note from the head's slit-nostril.

[Salsacookies]

" NO! BAD IDEA! DON'T TOUCH IT!

Attempt to stop her from grabbing the note. If she does, prepare to fight.

Stare at the star with a slightly smug slightly curious look

Redshirt settles in, but does not sit down. 95% of his kind are killed sitting or lying down.

A tense period of waiting ensues, with John pointing his snail shell squarely away from his own face the entire time. And then, rather expectedly, a *plop* occurs, followed by a *plonk*, but nothing seems to happen. Then a clicking sound starts to emanate from somewhere. A minute passes. And then, almost from nowhere at all, something lands on the platform from behind the group. Looking to see what it is, they notice a tall, distinctly male figure wearing a dress made seemingly of tin, its skin gray, its head shaven and its eyes glowing orange within a face sculpted to appear like a skull. It walks over to the star and takes up a combat stance, its hip splitting in half to produce some sort of block that it takes in its hands, then unfolds into a glowing sword. The body of the Guardian then begins to shimmer, eyes flashing bright orange as it looks at, who else, Redshirt.

"Hey... is there anybody IN there?"  She looks a little disappointed.

Knuser almost immediately gets his hands on Stargazer, but she is simply way too determined to get the note, and also far too enraged by people putting hands on her to do anything other than easily swat him aside and pull the note out of the nostril. Knuser, after dusting himself off, takes up a combat stance. Stargazer, meanwhile, takes a look at the note.

It says:

Stargazer was filled with awe after reading the note.  She was also filled with semi-murderous rage directed towards a certain meddling FBI agent.  But there would be time to act on it later.  She had to look good in front of the Head of Listening and the Eye of... Eyeing, after all.

She passed the note to the FBI agent while glaring daggers at him.

((Stories in this post later.  Edit2: hmm, I just remembered that I suck at stories.  This is gonna take a little longer than I thought, gonna need another day))
