We still have the bat, right? BASH THE GUY IN THE HEAD. Preferably the one attacking Charlie.

You charge forward, winding up. But Charlie brings the butt of the gun around, smacking the man directly in the mask. He stumbles backward, and Charlie lines up a shot. He squeezes the trigger, and the gun roars. The man stumbles back screaming, clearly hit. You continue to charge as Charlie racks the gun. You swing full force, glancing the mans shoulder. The man collapses. Charlie groans, slowly getting to his feet. He's bleeding, arm slashed open. "Face full of rock salt really fucks ya up" He scoffs "Bastard got me with a knife. If there's more they'll be coming, ready up."

Good job Charlie. Let's hope we can knock some other guy unconscious for questioning. For now, though, keep our gun in one hand and our bat in the other - swing at the first person who comes through. If they're knocked unconscious then we shoot anyone who comes through, unless it's our guy. Inform charlie of this plan.

The guy on the ground moans. Charlie kneels next to him, and checks his pulse. He then unbuckled the mask. "Looks like a rawhide thing, just blank. The guys out, and I don't think he'll wake up for a while." He nods at your plan, and kneels in the corner, ready to fire. After a few seconds, there's a slamming of a door near the front of the house, then silence.

We should try dragging this guy out of sight and hiding until we know how dangerous their numbers are.

You stalk down the hallway, keeping an eye on the doors. At the end, you find the living room. Peering inside you see your guy, as you'd say. He's lying face down in a pool of blood. Shit, that's not good. Papers, books and glass shards are scattered through the area.
Charlie: "Deal with him, I'll clear the house."
Charlie moves back in the hallway, opening doors and clearing rooms.

I suppose we should check for vitals and rummage through his pockets while we're at it.
