You head to a walmart on your way, and grab a nice wooden baseball bat, as well as a bottle of hot sauce. You know you have your sidearm in your car, and plenty of ammo, but it's good to have a non-lethal option too. Pulling up in front of the building, it looks bad. Worse than what you woke in. The door is one of those metal grille types, it's closed.

You take a swig of the hot sauce, wince, swallow, and start crying. Fucking christ this was a dumb idea.
Stowing your sidearm in your holster, and grabbing the bat, you swagger up to the door, throw it open, and charge inside.

The inside is rotting and dusty, dust spirals through the air, puffing up with every footstep. Something scurries in the walls. The air is uneasy, and cold for the season.

You creep along the hallway. There's doors on each side, and a spiral staircase at the end of the hall, going up and down. There's a loud clumping noise above you, and dust spirals from the ceiling.

You step on the stairs, feeling horribly uneasy. A slight creak emanates from the stair, and you freeze. After a few seconds, when nothing happens, you go farther up. About three quarters of the way up, the stomping repeats.
