Much less active than I used to be on these forums, but I still visit them on occasion. Will probably resume my activity in full once Dwarf Fortress will be released on Steam.

I am disappointed that the image in the first post is long gone since it's the source of everything else to occur in that thread.

Tried to see if it would show on Wayback Machine but robots.txt prevented me.

I wonder if Thorik's still seeing boobs on their embarks.

Sometimes the mountains in DF do erode into cones that vaguely resemble pointy bras.

Everything can be a lovely pair of mountains

Dug up Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law on Youtube. Been having a laugh.

Harvey, you say?

In FF7 the optional tutorials are posed as NPCs asking questions to Cloud. The first tutorial room is destroyed and all those NPCs are killed.

They show up again in the next tutorial room, as ghosts. Cloud's explanations were so complicated that they couldn't rest in peace.

I don't see how the modern FF7 franchise ever came out of the original game, this stuff is great.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
They've been stuck on a loop for a couple minutes, they haven't stopped yet.

EDIT: I've jinxed it, they stopped something like 2 loops later.

Did the ice slip 'n shuffle getting to the car today. Spent two or three seconds trying to regain my balance, before failing, scraping my hand on the ground and bouncing my knee off the car bumper.

Funniest thing that's happened to me so far this year.

So apparently, at some point, the Pope said "hey guys, global warming is wrecking the earth, we have a responsibility to protect it and the people living on it, there's two sides to this "dominion" coin". And Marco Rubio responded with "well he's not a scientist so who cares." (Like he'd listen to a scientist...)

The funny part is that the Pope is a fucking scientist! (He has a diploma in chemistry, and he worked as a chemist for a while.)

Huh. I didn't even know about the Pope having a diploma in chemistry. I would've assumed it'd have been in theology or some sort. That's pretty neat.

honestly, i hope the trend of 'chill pope who just wants his fellows Christians to be nice to everyone' continues for quite a while.

It is slightly less funny now that I appear to have done some unpleasantness to my shoulder and middle finger on the side of my scraped hand.

Ah well.
