The "Bert wants to know who broke his swastika" one is the best IMO.

At Didney Worl. Underage friend ordered a slushie with rum in it by default without alcohol. Except whoever was in the kitchen seems to have added rum anyways. I should probably be concerned, but I'm instead laughing my ass off.

A little rum never hurt anyone.

Unless they had to drive home. But I digress.

So, the whole new flag for NZ thing is in full swing. The government started taking submissions from the general public a while back. Most of them are jokes and/or jabs at how basically no-one is taking it seriously.
I hope one of the joke flags wins.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

I hope there's one of a kiwibird on a white field with a grey shadowy shape cast unevenly over it, downshifting everything a few shades, which is suspiciously similar in shape to Australia.

Year 2056:
"Daddy, what was the flag like in the beforetimes?"
"It was large, and proud...But nothing like the new flag! The new flag is glorious!"
The camera pans to outside, where a flag lays. The flag is of a giant penis.

Today's devlog.

Quote from: Toady One
I mentioned in some Future of the Fortress or other that ethics and values don't instantly assimilate when you grant resident or citizen status to a visitor that petitions to stay at your fortress, and that we'd make sure to have some definite evidence of that fact. I started by diversifying the "work satisfaction" thought by feeding in the job type and filtering it through the individual. In particular, any elves that have the misfortune of signing up for dwarven life can now emotionally process the experiences of tree felling, butchery and animal caging. We trust you'll respect this new situation in your labor settings.

This part is especially hilarious :

I'm not sure if the Great is sarcastic or not, though...
