I majorly avenged the Burvixese people by royally screwing over the Druuge. And it was satisfying as all Hell (ironically enough to speak, considering my target) to do so.
How? Well first a history lesson, the Druuge threw the friendly, nearly benevolent, Burvix under the bus by luring the Kohr-Ah towards them, and shutting off their hyperwave broadcasters and watching them die. How? After being warned that they track hyperwave transmissions (as told by the Melnorme, and finding the artifact and ruins as well), they planted a hyperwave broadcaster of their own on the Burvix moon, aimed it at Kohr-Ah space. And being the violent beings the Kohr-Ah were, they systematically obliterated the Burvix without a second thought. The Druuge made it off scott-free since they shut their devices off during the onslaught.
...That is, until I personally taught those karma houdinis a lesson...
Now I recalled them wanting their precious caster returned to them for a full tank of gas, as I was shopping for a replacement part for the Ultron (Rosy Sphere for a Mycon egg case).
When I got an opportunity and a little free time and enough resources, I refit my ship to be a flying hi-efficiency fuel tank. All 16 cells filled with fuel tanks of double-capacity. I also gave myself JUST enough fuel to make it there and arrive on fumes, registering my tank at 0 on arrival to their central trade planet.
I made my exchange of the caster for a full tank of gas, and by law, they complied and filled my tanks. So, 100 units of fuel per-tank, 16 of them, + 10 units reserve fuel on the ship itself tallies to 1610 units of fuel. I bled the entire Crimson Corporation dry. A little quick math as well, 1610 x 20RU/fuel = 32,200 RU. More than enough to make a heavy fleet and a battleship configuration, and still have more than enough resources to spare for another fleet. Take that, you clowns. Serves you bastards right. MWUAHAHAHAHA!!!!
To watch it is one thing; to do it is something else. But it's still every bit hilarious to witness. RIP Burvix, you have been avenged.Oh right, before you judge me or other players for this, they're also slavers willing to toss their unwilling (albeit, chained up) crew into their furnaces for another shot or few from their ships, and then some. They even try to convince you to sell your crew to them for fuel and such.
EDIT:
Add insult to injury, they insulted my ship for being a derelict (unarmed, and ripe for taking in hostile space). Speaking of derelicts... Don't you guys need fuel to travel?
EDIT EDIT:
Correction. Total gain: 32,200RU (from fuel) + 1500RU (From turning in the HI-EFF Tanks) = 33,700RU total.
Still emptying the tanks, but I'm laughing the whole way through.
