Magitech Mech: Melee 2 Attack against positions 1 & 3. Defenses: Melee 3, Ranged 2, Magic 4. HP 7/12  -- 2 Melee Attack against Varee & Furtuka 
Infantry: Melee 3 Attack against position 1. Defenses: Melee 3, Ranged 2, Magic 4. HP 2/7  -- 3 Melee Attack against Varee

As a reminder, you can adjust the Character Order during this phase by discarding a card to move one space forward or backwards. The Shift card may also be played during this phase (The Attack effect will remain in effect during yoour Attack phase)

If you want, I can switch to position 1 or 3, defend 1 against up to 2 attacks, and boost someone's attack by one.

So I got the PM to replace in, so it's Futurka I'm replacing, right?

And it's the defense phase, OK.
Use parry

Eagle, I think I'm good, and Varee has two defense cards. You can probably play the defense boost on one of Varee's cards, but you and Varee seem to be in about the same position in ability to defend right now.

go for armor and parry


I dont think shifting now help, just focus on killing them for now, also i dont think you can boost other player defend?

That is correct. If the card/ability can boost someone else it'll say Boost. Otherwise it'll only work on yourself. Likewise, a Boost cannot be used all by itself, it needs a normal Defense to effect.

Sorry for the absence, folks. I've been knocked out by a nasty cold the past few days. Finally starting to feel better.

Just realized I might have misread what EagleV was asking. To clarify: your Defend ability (from the Guardian) lets you do two things. One, you take the attack instead of whoever was being targeted and Two you gain 1 Defense of the appropriate type when taking the attack, so you'll never suffer a Wound from using that ability.

Defense and Defense Boost cards work like the Attack and Attack Boost cards, so you need a Defense to start but can stack both Defense and Boost cards on yourself. You can Boost other players defenses, but only with a Defense Boost.

Interesting... In that case, I'll think I'll boost Varee's defense by one using Pinpoint Shield and intercept the two attacks he can't defend against by discarding the other 4 cards.
