The druid facepalmed when Sacha attempted to punch Ayeleth, and again when Sacha stomped away.

"It's a bit complicated, Relic. I'm Darwyn, and the dolphin in the water is Marina."

But, she bounces right back!

"...Oh, you have a Dolphin! I swam with Dolphins when I was a little girl...nicely met, Ser Darwyn. I'm sure you're a good person-Dolphins know, they do...is Marina friendly?" Relic says, hands over her heart.

Darwyn considered the question carefully before answering.

"She's perfectly friendly with me, and she hasn't had any problems with anyone on the boat so far. She's very well-trained, so even if she doesn't like you I don't think she'll attack unless directly threatened. What about your own pet...Bitey, was it?" He gestured towards the crocodile, a bit wary of its teeth.

The Crocodile cast a beady lizard-eye at Darwyn.

"Bitey's too small to bite anyone-yet-his name is a bit of a misnomer!

It's just he's very witty. Oh, the thing he says...I can talk to Crocodiles you know. Not very often, and I usually don't understand much, but I can. And, other things too-plants, and other animals. I could talk to Marina!

Oh, but Bitey-he's more like to wound your pride, right now. Which is fortunate, since most people can't understand Crocodile."

"Now that you mention it... Darwyn, has Ness been back since we first left?" Beolas asks.

"No, I haven't seen her. I assumed she was with you bunch."

Frowning slightly, he continues, "I cannae say that leaves me at ease, not in a big place such as this... I'll be back soon."

"I'll come with you!' Relic says, attaching herself to Beolas's side like a barnacle.

"I haven't told you about my time on the Glovers Folly, have I? We were traveling across the big blue to trade these wheels of cheese-like, big wheels-big as actual wheels, like wagon wheels of cheese...' She prattles.

Action: Tag along with Beolas and help look for the lost charcter, chatter annoyingly

"...I mean to say the ship sank, while I was on it, would you believe the captains steered us right into Shipbreaker point again? It's true! Anyway I grabbed a piece of cheese and floated back to my old rock, and we didn't have any fire this time but we did have cheese, cheese as big as wagonwheels, and the Captain didn't go crazy this time, he said that cheesemongers are the luckiest men in the world and I asked him why and he said, it's because...

"...And then Casso, King of Seals, decided we'd all be better as seals, rather than people-we should have asked why his court was full of seals who seemed more than ordinarily intelligent. I wouldn't have minded being a seal, I suppose, but still it's not exactly something I would want-I mean, I like to swim and eat fish, but I like the rest of my parts too-so I didn't eat the transforming soup, but he's not the sort to forget me, he'd said I'm make a pretty seal, and you know I agree, I would, and well I started running and he blew his conch horn and his seal soldiers came at me from all sides...

Oh, I think we're lost. Why did you let yourself get distracted Beolas?" She asked innocently.

"Don't worry, I've been here for awhile, I can probably get our bearings."

Action: Time to find our way back to the ship!

Stomping back up to the deck Sacha seemed to be quite miffed to say the least "And another thing you stupid bi-... Oh..." Taking amoment to absorb the fact that apparently only she and Darwyn where on the ship anymore "Guess she ran off... Should we really be taking these people on board? I... Maybe if we went back and talked to Oleg and Gig they'd agree to come back with us." Sacha seemed a little uncomfortable saying such things, judging by the way she focused everywhere but on Darwyn.

Darwyn's voice was conciliatory.
"They left to find Ness, Sacha. And yes, I do think we should be taking more people; I don't think the four of us will be enough to handle all of the challenges ahead. If you think that our friends will be ready to rejoin us, we'll sail back to the dwarves right away. But do you really think they're ready to leave after only a few days?"

"That'd be a help, aye, I've nae head for cities," Beolas replies.
