Iley Nuaugamkea, Aela Entaria, Guilhayl Aber and Mutt:
Ilev charges forward, jumping right over the trench (13+4), slamming into Swordsman B/2 (17+5, Success, 1+6+4), sending him flying back. He falls into a trench, and doesn't try to get up.
Spoiler: Initiative (click to show/hide)
It is Mutt's turn.

X'ithzol:
"You're a monster, masquerading as a person. Defeating you in this tournament will be my way to the top, not yours."
He disengages from combat briefly, and jumps over the first trench, but falls on all fours when he lands.
(Attack: 5+3, fail)

Mutt stepped back with a five-foot step and lowered the crossbow to the barbarian's face. He smiled, as he quickly slotted in a bolt if necessary and fired it to streak into the unarmoured warrior's chest.

He seemed fortunate. He had seen no reaction to the use of his psionics - he hadn't even been called a abomination yet. Maybe his party members were waiting until after the fight.

((I can stab and then run, right?))
Stab 3, run around to get behind Ilev.

X'ithzol:
((Since the DM did a stupid, I'm reposting this turn. Sorry about the delay.))
"You're a monster, masquerading as a person. Defeating you in this tournament will be my way to the top, not yours."
The elf takes another step back, and fires once more, but misses.

Guilhayl Aber, Mutt, Iley Nuaugamkea and Aela Entaria:
(6-1, Fail.)
Guilhayl's spear follows Mutt's arrow into the ground. When he turns to regroup with his allies, the loinclothed man takes a swipe at the wizard, cutting into the back of his leg. (AOO: Success, 3 damage)
Spoiler: Initiative (click to show/hide)
It is Aela's turn.

X'ithzol:
(11+3, Fail.)
The spear slashes through some of the elf's hair, which would have been his face, if he had not rolled out the way in time. Coming out the roll, he fires an arrow, (Success, 3 damage) but his delay opens him to a counter attack that goes wide. (AOO from ranged attack into melee: 7+3, Fail.)

X'ithzol:
(10+3, Fail.)
Again, the elf seems to be one step ahead of your swings. However, that unnatural speed does not help his own attacks. (Attack: Fail.) (AOO from ranged into melee: 8+3, fail.)

X'ithzol:
Your first stab finds his flesh, but his arrow swishes by your head, and your counterattack puts him down.
(18+3, success, 4+3 damage) (Fail) (AOO counterattack: 16+3, success, 7+3 damage.)
Your victory will be described in the morning, when it's not 2:30 AM.

X'ithzol:
Before the elf even hits the ground or the crowd begins to roar, healers are dashing in, trying to stabilize your foe. As you make your way out, you hear that you may have almost killed him. Then you are handed a bag heavy with misplaced bets, 250 gold, to be exact.
And now to wait for tomorrow's battles.

"My apologies, I did not mean to come so close to causing a fatality. After so many dodged blows, I was not expecting both of those attacks to miss. I still have not used the healing spell that was allotted to me; the Elf may have it used on him, to remedy my error."
Then go looking for a place to buy a healing spell/potion. Preferably a spell, a single CL1 CLW from a Cleric should be 10GP IIRC, so about a 5th of the potion price @.@

The healers wave you away. "Healing spells to not die are free. Don't sweat."

(Gather Information: 20+0)
Almost instantly after walking out, you find a dwarf in priestly robes, very flustered over an empty purse with a large slash in it. He agrees to heal you for 7 gold and 5 silver.
(4+1 HP regained.)

"A pleasure doing business with you, priest. Also, if I might be so bold as to make a suggestion, a pouch, or better still a money belt, worn under clothes is rather more secure than a purse on the belt, if somewhat more inconvenient. Though the need for a servant of the gods to defend his possessions from thieves is distressing. Highly disrespectful."
X'ithzol goes and watches the other match.
