Wait... what has GW done that was particularly shady that they would need to do a FAQ to joke about it?

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

I don't know... I am aware that it would be like going "What did Capcom do to ever earn the ire of their fanbase?" or "What did EA ever do to piss people off?" but I am not QUITE in the know how.

All I know is they sometimes have a tendency to lash against their fanbase when annoyed... and that they cornered the market so strongly that it actually hurt the growth of the hobby to such an extent that they are struggling now.

Maybe each of their three new playstyles comes in its own book (which is individually chepeaper than the current BRB)

If playing 40k is cheaper than having a heroin addiction, GW is the shady street dealer who promises discount heroin if you get in his van for a modeling career. And he didn't bring any green stuff.

Basically if you have no idea why GW is untrustworthy, the chances that you've made decent life choices has increased

Admittedly (and I never thought I'd say this about Age of Sigmar) that steampunk sky pirate dwarf faction they just released is pretty cool.

Just disregard what GW does and adopt your own headcanon and disregard the actual tabletop game completly. It makes Wh40k much more likeable.

So on a scale of Nurgle to Tzeentch, how hopeful should be? (Possible answers: Tzeentch: "Hope! Change! A only a small level of horrible mutations!". Imperium: "Change is heresy. Remain cautious, and keep your bolters trained on it at all times." Nurgle: "This sucks. What's wrong with our current metastasizing nightmare?". Insert any other response you feel appropriate.)

GWS is pure evil. They actively shop out their IP to the worst possible developers as well as continue up the price on their products, making a niche hobby even nicher, not to mention basically 100% of all of their retconning goes against what the fanbase wants.
