"A human, eh?" - said the grumpy-looking old frog, looking at you with a bit of disbelief. - "So your name is James Stevenson...And you want a gun."
You nod your head, after which the old frogman bursts with laughter.
"Did you REALLY think I would just give you my ol' Shelly? Forget about it, human, it's mine. You want a gun, you're gonna need to fight for one. Don't worry though, I know where you can find one..." - after that he slowly walked over to the desk and took out an old, gray screen from the drawer.

"Here. Take this." - he hands you over the little device, and you scratch your head wondering what it is. The old man giggles and coughs.
"Ah yes, you may not remember these. It's a GPS. A little gift from me. It's essentially a map, but better. You probably won't get lost with it. Especially since you're looking for a gun, right? It has a location of an old pre-war research station built into it. I honestly do not care what they used to work on there, but there are stories of great guns being hidden deep within it, some which have not been seen for decades... And you sure do look like someone who would gladly get a hold of one." - you agree.

"Now, there is a reason it was abandoned, buut...I can't remember why. Experimental mutants or some such. But it's not like I care about it. Now go."

You leave the barren, steel-blue room and go outside, looking through the frozen harbor town of Kalashnikovgrad, one of the few places on the continent where people aren't running around trying to murder each other. Except for those two birds brawling with shovels over stolen arrows.
You prepare to leave...You're ready. All you have is your trusty old shovel you've taken from the tanker ship that brought you here two days ago, and the GPS the old frog has given to you. You turn the GPS and after a few seconds and a bit of buzzing it starts to pinpoint you to the location of the mysterious resarch station.

It's surprisingly warm considering you in the southernmost area of the planet. You quickly move out and follow the GPS' tips, and after some walking past a skyship getting ready to take off, you arrive at the research station.

It looks much like other buildings in this area - steel, ruined and frozen. It appears to be made out of a skyship, seeing as its two "towers" look just like the airship turbines. The only entrance inside is broken and open, and you can hear the cold wind hissing through it.
You hesistate, but decide to go inside anyway. Trying not to get yourself cut on the half-broken door, you find yourself in the main hall of the station. There is a lot of garbage on the floor, a few flipped tables, and a whole lot of snow and ice. In the center of the room there is a giant LCD screen with a smaller computer next to it. Both of them appear to be broken, and there appears to be no power either. However, there are two doors on the opposite end of the room - you come closer to them and the doorway on the left seems to lead upwards whereas the right one descends deeper into the facility.

What do you do?

Rifle through the garbage, even though it's unlikely there's going to be anything to shed light in this more low security area, there probably will be something.

+1 and go upstairs. There might be some equipment that we could get before we head out into the depths of this facility where our precious guns (most probably) are.

(I can't guarantee that I'll be making those images for every update, nor that James will actually stay consistent between them. You have been warned.)

As you try to scavenge through the multiple kinds of garbage on the floor of the room, you manage to find a grand total of 3 shotguns shells that somebody did not try to shoot something else with. Sure, you don't have a shotgun to your name, but you can be sure someone in Kalashgrad will be willing to give you something for them. You then quickly pack those 12-gauges into your bag you just realized you actually have, and move upstairs.

After a quick walk up the rather slippery and dangerous-looking stairs, you find yourself back outside, on the top of one of the facility's towers. As it turns out, there's nothing worthy of note up here to take, but something else catches your attention.
It appears that someone was following you. In the distance you can see a pair of humans riding on quads, and they're coming in your (rather general) direction. They appear to have GUNS with them, but you can't tell what kind of GUNS from this distance. One thing for sure - if they can afford to have a quad each and also carry a gun, you know they're not your average wannabe scavenger like you, but dead-serious people who will happily shoot you down to get what little you have.

They're about 200 meters away and may not know you're actually sitting up on the tower, but it's best for you to act quickly. You run back down to the main room as to not catch their attention immediately by pointing your head out on that tower.

What do you do?

As you try to quickly hide your somewhat-disjointed body under the garbage, you can hear engine noises getting louder and louder until they stop, followed by footsteps.

"Are you zure this is it?" - a deep male voice says.
"Of course it is. Where else would you-...wait, hold on a second." - a ligher, female voice responds and starts walking in your direction. You can hear a distinct noise of a shotgun being cocked. Your primitive cover quickly gets blown as the table and metal scraps you've been hiding under for the past 2 minutes are thrown aside, and you are greeted with a sight of a woman pointing a shotgun directly at you (hint: it's a terrifying sight).
"DON'T MAKE ME WASTE THOSE SH-" - she yells but stops mid-sentence and hangs up for a few seconds before calming down.

"Wait...Is that you, James?" - she says, as the second human, a bearded guy with a bow and a shovel approaches you.
"Of course he iz." - he says with his deep, mildly Russian-accented voice. You look confused, because those people apparently know you, but you can't recognize them.

"Come on, James, don't you remember? It's me, Anne, and this is Gorbachev. You must've been with us at the assault of Gun Francisco, no?"

Your confused face is quickly replaced by a confident grin as you stand up from the garbage pile.
(from now on, Gorbachev's speech is maroon-colored while Anne speaks in dark blue)
"What are you doing here, James? You've gotten a long way from Oregun." - Gorbachev asks, and you explain your situation to them.

"You've gotten pretty desperate, haven't you? - Anne asks, probably sarcastically - But don't worry, we are here now. You've helped us take those Machinese bugs out at Gun Fran, now we're gonna help you here...Oh, by the way, I'm almost out of shells and I could probably use a few more.
Gorbachev then interrupts by saying:
"That's because you spent them on that frog beer in Kalashgrad."
"Shut up!

What do you do?

"Well, I've got a couple of shotgun shells. As for what I'm doing, well... I'll tell you if you tell me what you're doing here."
Walk up to them.
