Dimensions: A Reboot
So, this is a kinda sorta reboot of my very first RTD, which was short-lived, mostly due to my inexperience. It was based on the concept of the players either designing their own race, or using an existing one, and using that for their character, or something along those lines. Anyway, I decided to reboot it, albeit better, and hopefully longer-lived. I will also be 'borrowing' quite a bit from Roll to Derp, an RTD which I rather enjoyed, even if it was equally short-lived. That may have been due to the GM not putting a player cap though, as he ended up with 18 players or so.
Anyway, this is a kinda sorta reboot. I will be rolling a d20 for actions. 10 and above are various degrees of success, below 10 is various degrees of failure, and anything higher than 25 is an overshot. Here's the charrie sheet:
Name:
Race:Provide links if from an existing universe, describe it in-depth using spoilers if original.
Appearance:
Skills:Pick 3.
STR:
DEX:
SPD:
END:
You have 20 points. For each 4 points, you get a +1 in rolls related to that stat. I will be rolling for race and skills a la RTD, and if you fail, you'll get the closest thing. An example would be my getting fox instead of kitsune, or Beirus getting elf instead of human.
Magic will be done through cards, but you won't know what each card does, a la Perplexicon. There will be single-use cards, multi-use cards, and perma-cards, or cards with infinite uses. Each card has a colour and a number, the colour determining roughly what card type it is, and the number determining the average 'power' of the spell. Using a card means that when getting the same card, you'll know what it does. There will be random card showers throughout the land, and you can try to get to these to get cards.
Equipment provides bonuses.
