It did not happen in the anime, but, due to me knowing what happens when 6-12 people attack a single boss, I have decided to only allow 3 people max into a battle at a time. Granted, I will allow certain battles to have more than three people battle, but they will be plot centric battles (Read: Walpurgis night, Kremhild Gretchen, Olivion von Seckendorf.).

It just seems...repetitive. Wouldn't it be fitting to have a couple bosses, who would be proportionally more or less powerful, have different amounts of magical girls allowed in their labyrinths? The 'latent passive energy' or something?

Meh, Maybe. But, as you know, we have only battled 1 witch so far and are about to fight the second. So before you start thinking it's repetitive, Consider that in the anime, only 1 person battled a witch at a time before the witches began to be stronger.
