Question: What is the policy on doing silly things that should work with cartoon logic, e.g. will wearing a top hat, a monocle and a fake moustache give a bonus to diplomatic actions?

I'd say given that the previous version of the game was very serious, likely not.

I still need to add it's stats though. So here it is, I made one small alteration as well because it felt like I should give her something more in mind then just being that soldier who wants to be famous.

You are obviously more likely to success in diplomatic issues while wearing your black-tie rather than your daily rags, but if you smell like a troll's arse because you haven't washed for last month of your adventures and have zero education and no idea of current political situation, you will most likely fail despite wearing black-tie.

Generally, cartoon logic doesn't work.

((Black-tie means a fancy formal suit, right? My English idioms suck.))

Time's up. Here's what I've ended up with some Microsoft Excel-fu.

So, the five party members are:

Harry Baldman
Pancaek
IcyTea31
Helgoland
Alexandria

Waitlist:

Th4DwArfY1
Varee
blazing glory
darkpaladin109

Now, while I arrange stuff in the head of the thread, you five are led through dim corridors of the War Office building, presumably going right through it. After walking for quite a distance and turning almost endless corners, you finally go downstairs. Down there is a spacious room that is presumably some kind of garage - at least there are some instruments scattered around, and a massive military truck is standing in the middle. You were said to wait here.
((Helgoland, your character was given standard-issue sidearm, a decent semi-automatic pistol with seven charges in clip and a military bolt-action rifle converted for hunting via replacement of rifled barrel with a smooth one - they do it with the ones they were about to write off but decide to throw into civil use. Everyone else has their weapons of choice.))
There, you five meet for the first time. Quite a scene.
