Alastair barely noticed Pelageya behind him. Oh.

"Err... I heard someone inside the armoury! We can't have spies getting inside the fort too, so I figured I better check it out!"

Well... maybe it would work, I suppose. Though he'd have to feign surprise later.

"I don't have the key, though. I think we can get in here. Can you help?"

He pointed at the damaged wall.

Vito shakes his head and chuckles at the scene before him.

"One must still question why Signor Allie has decided that a lack of keys justifies breaking down a wall."

One would also wonder why nobody cared to mention the Armory to the two soldiers who've just arrived. Is this distrust? Must be due to these hallways.

"If that's the passage towards the Armory, then what happened to the door leading to it? Locked? Or...is someone really thinking of breaking down a stone wall to get in? You mercs are...ok, huh."

She was unsure whether the idea of being 'ok' even made sense in that context, but as she couldn't see the damage to the wall given that corner around the passage, it was a bit justified if anyone questioned by looking at her.

Pelageya raised an eyebrow at Alastair. She shrugged.
:"...iiif you say so. ...buncha weapons are probably more expensive than a bit of wall anyway."
13, 10 axe the wall.

Alastair mentally groaned from Vito's comment.

"I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate fighting on two sides, Vito! We can worry about that later!"

Alastair was too far away and preoccupied to hear Gandus or Amelia introducing themselves.

Alastair attacks the wall then cantos into the room to 6,11.

He put on a grand voice and shouted as he was doing so, raising his lance to make a show of it.

"Craven cur! You will regret the day you scampered in here!"

He was surprised to actually see a person over by the other side of the room. He mumbled to himself.

"Urgh... someone's actually in here?!"

"Oh good! You must be the mercenary group that I was told to get in contact with. Here, take this, and this, and this. The staff goes to the healer I'm sure your group has. The sword should be obvious, and the vulneraries are for whoever needs them the most. You take these, and I'll catch up with your group when I've finished... collecting the items I was told to get. Now go on. You have a battle to fight and all."

Hopefully that'll trick him. It's a shame I need to give up some of the loot, but I'll get it back.

Kindra to 5-11, give Alastair the Iron Sword, Sleep Staff, and Vulns

Alastair didn't even need to feign surprise, as he was just awestruck as he had various items dumped on him. He didn't even try to stop it because he was so surprised.

"I... uh... what..."

He regained a little bit of his composure.

"Hey, who are you? And what are you doing here?"

Oh for goodness sakes... "New recruit. Did you guys not hear about me? Yeah, I'm uh... recon expert. Information handling, that sort of thing. Snuck in with the enemy troops, used the chaos to get to you guys. Woulda been here sooner but, as I said, enemy troops and all. Shouldn't you be more worried about them? They're trying to kill you after all."
