Gandus quickly realized the people he had just fallen into step with were not soldiers of the fort. "Hold a moment- You aren't regulars here. Who are you?"

Sadie to 14,9.

"Pretty cramped quarters, huh? We're mercenaries! My name's Sadie. What's yours?"

Amelia to 15,6 (when it eventually gets unoccupied; if not then the nearest tile nearby)

"He's Grendus. I'm Amelia. Didn't know Sir Bul would send for more help. Nice to meet you all. Any of you know the way to the Armory?" Amelia replied, seeing the look of their weapons and arms.

"Gandus, actually." The knight said. He performed a shallow bow. "Well met, Sadie."

"Hi Gandus, Amelia. Shame we meet in the middle of a fight, huh? Well, don't worry too much about getting hurt! I've got you covered."

Sadie raised her staff by way of explanation.

Gandus looked at Vito blankly before giving Sadie a small but warm smile. "A practitioner of the healing arts? I am grateful for your presence, as I'm sure will be those at the front."

Alastair was leading the charge, but for what reason, he did not know.

"Hmm, why am I even bothering, here?"

He figured that he should just find a nice place to rest for a while. The guards should be able to hold out for now, anyway. He looks over at a flimsy wall. Why, he could just take a quick rest in here, then!

"As long as I don't get caught for property damage."

Alastair moves to 13,11 and attacks the wall.

"I should hope so! It'd be a strange person indeed who didn't want a little magical healing for their wounds!"

Sadie thumped Gandus on the shoulder with her healing staff in a friendly manner.

Pelageya did not deign to speak with the soldiers, and instead just headed down, shooting a wary glance at the two ones that had just decided to walk with them.

...but looking in the other direction revealed Alastair was there wailing away at a wall.
:"What... are you doing...?"
