For this mission, the goal is simple. Prevent the Terran Hegemony from deploying relief forces.

So that can be accomplished in a few ways:

1) Kill them all.
2) Blow up their shuttles.
3) Blow up the ship.
4) Crash the ship.
5) Convince them to surrender.
6) Convince them to go home.
7) Convince them to not deploy relief forces.

Yup. Sadly, most of the ship is not accessible by mech. Only the hangar bay is big enough.

Yes.  Though, there's no air on the other side.

No, the ship simply isn't shaped like a massive cylinder. The connecting parts are much smaller. (Also, yes, the parts that don't need air don't have any.)

Edit: Anyway, on the UGV and self destruct thingy, I do need to know whether you're bluffing, or insane, or not. It gets kind of annoying if people suddenly come up with things that could not possibly be known before hand.

They're pressurized, but not designed for operation in space.

The Non-NBC mechs don't have an internal life support system, but even the ones who do have NBC containment will suffer from cooling issues.
