"There's rumor of a gem here. We can get to Ea's palace if we find it. Or so I'm told."

Karis walked forwards, obviously amazed at all of the new locations.
"What was it like, where you grew up?"

Alice continued to hug her wife, every now and again giving her nervous look. After a long time of silence she spoke.
"Are... Are you sure there isn't anything you would like to do?"

Icarus looks at Hilda, then Alice.


"Can you maybe not crowd me so much?"

"Big city, really dense. You couldn't take a step without seeing at least 20 people on the same block, even in the middle of the night, and there could be thousands of people at once on the really busy street. The tallest buildings disappeared into the clouds."

Karis nodded along,
"Sounds amazing, even in the capital we don't have that many people there."

Alice gave a small nod and rose to her feet,
"I... I can do that. I'll give you time alone" she slowly walked off and headed outside.

"Yeah. To bad it isn't around anymore."

[Kansa]

Karis gave Catherine a curious look,
"What happened?"

[Twinwolf]

"It was New York City."

[Kansa]

Karis still looked confused,
"I'm sorry, I still don't know what you mean."

[Twinwolf]

"It is currently devoid of all life except for some shades. I wasn't there when it happened- traveling with my father and sister- but everyone else I knew died there."

[Kansa]

Karis paused, her smile fading from her face.
"Oh. I'm sorry"

"Don't be. It happened years ago, and had nothing to do with you."

"Piss off, Bartimaeus, your jokes are shittier than your reasons to keep living."

The pigeon flies out before dissipating into smoke; grey smoke which surrounds Kaiser before shaping into multiple grotesque forms, staring at him with multiple glowing red eyes as a fog surrounds him.
"Don't trifle with me, boy. If I was at my former power, you would be nothing compared to me. I had the power to slay angels twenty times your meager size, and I still have that fight left in me."

Ashley looks around.
"There's rumor of a gem here. We can get to Ea's palace if we find it. Or so I'm told."

Alucard glances around some before turning to inquire, "And where might this gem be? Surely not in some pawn shop?"
"I am sorry," Hilda says quietly before leaving the room as her body changes; gears shifting, metal morphing into the taller and slender form of her normal self.

Catherine speaks up again after a bit. "Enough depressing stuff. We went out to have fun."
