"Perhaps a dress. Though I don't... Prefer dances or dressing up formally."

"I can understand that, Karis feels the same. Do you wish for me to direct you to a clothes store? Or I could bring things for you to try on here"

"Good, I want out of here quickly."

"Yeah, this place gives me the creeps somehow. I mean what's with these people, they even have a temple for a god, but the priest can just go "but shhh, wont tell you wish god". And everybody is fine with that?"

((Eh... Most of our 'sociable' characters who'd be enthusiastic to go to the ball aren't in the pocket dimension and/or are dead. And the people who are here aren't the kind who'd enjoy formal events like that, so it'd make sense that nobody wants to go.))
