She sighs and rolls her eyes, "You can stay here if you want to. I'm not going to stop you or anything like that."

"N-no, I mean, if it w-was your choice, w-would you stay h-here?"

"No. I'd like to stay as far away from Tentacles as much as possible, thank you very much. But I'm not you, so just pick something already."

"Sen, the Compendium demon, is in possession of the mask."
Alucard taps his pencil against the desk, thinking.
"Hesketet could manipulate time... would it make sense if Lolgrammoth could slow down time to accelerate his speed relative to our perspective? What if his other separate forms are... from other timelines?"

Kaiser carefully weighs out the options for a good minute. Then he remembers Hilda's cookies.

"I think I'll pass, Kyle. I brought Kaotaro into the group, so I'll deal with her. She's my responsibility, and I take those seriously."

He pulls a device remotely resembling a USB stick from his pocket, and tosses it at Kyle.

"That there contains REI and the other AI of yours I had to deal with. Thought I should give them back, although they're still in neural interface code."

He then promptly carries Kaotaro to the Nomad.

"Don't need them. And one last thing for you to note. It will be harder for her to assimilate the castle in comparison to your jet should she turn into that thing again."

"The plane is made of me. It should be fine, because if he tries to assimilate me, I'll assimilate her. Or at least that weird AI, if it even is an AI."

"Good. It's not somewhere you want to go."

Kaiser puts Kaotaro down on the couch.

Dalia has been relatively quiet, but seeing Kaiser place Kaotaro on the couch makes her grunt and gently kick him in the shins to get his attention. "We do have a spare bed for her. It'll probably be much better for her than the grimey couch too. I bet it's full of crumbs."

Kaiser moves her into the spare bedroom.

"Uh huh. And there, doesn't that look better? So... Now what? Do we just wait until she wakes up?"

EVERYONE GETS A LETTER FROM SANGUINE AGAIN! Yay! They also come with cookies made to look like bats.

Kaiser eats the cookie and reads the letter.

"Figures. So what's the letter about?" she asks, not even bothering to open the one she recieved since she knows it'd be identical.
