A loud thump in the Nomad signals someone waking up. Poorly.

"Ow fuck shit owwww..."

The girl crawls along the floor, having fallen out of bed from her tossing and turning, and tries to use the wall to help herself get upright.

Two sharps knocks on the door.

"Are y-you alright in t-there?"

"I-I'm fine! I just- I just had some trouble getting out of bed is all!"

Kaotaro tried to sound jovial or relaxed as she lied. She didn't need help. She didn't. Not anymore. She could walk by herself now...


Spensir looks down at the fight below him, the Mecha attached to the wall as his armor unfolded onto him like scales. Mabarius was slung over one shoulder, glinting in the sun. Leaning out over the wall, he sighed.

"This is gonna suck, you know."

"Oh shut up and jump."

Shaking his head, the swordsman put his arms out to either side, took a step forward, and fell.

As he fell, he twisted in air, pulling the sword down to point the tip at the crawler attached to the wall, and swinging himself around so his feet were oriented towards it, clouds gathering slowly above him, far off in the sky. As his speed grew, and the ground approached, the swordsman braced his gigantic sword against his side, almost like a lance, as he prepared to crash into the mech from above.

"W-well, okay... d-do you w-want something t-to eat?"

"A-uh, I-I'll get it! Just, ah, give me a minute-!"

The girl struggled to walk towards the door before realizing she wasn't wearing anything appropriate to be seen in. She took a step towards the dresser and fell again.

"Damnit..." She growled to herself as she began using the bed to push herself back up again.

"Are you s-sure you d-don't need any help?"

"I'm fine! I'm- I'm just...fine..."

Kaiser opens the door.

"You d-don't sound a-alright... c-can I come in?"

((cue either megaton punch or breakdown))

Kaotaro doesn't respond, but she's breathing heavily by this point, thwarted by the drawers in her attempts to open them. When one comes out all the way and lands on top of her, she gives up, tears slowly streaking the sides of her face as she lies on the ground, quietly sobbing.

Kaiser sighs, and begins to attempt the tricky operation of helping without directly looking at her. He wraps a blanket around her, puts the drawer back where it belongs and gently helps her up.

"...I'm sorry. This is my fault."
