Kaotaro's sobs break off slowly, and she stops breathing so heavily.

"No...you...you've only helped me this entire time...you've been nothing but kind to me..."

She leans into him, mostly for balance, but partially because she wants to feel near him...her savior, time and again. Even when she thought she didn't need saving, or didn't want to be saved...

Kaiser puts an arm around her, helping her balance.

"I-it's fine, most o-of this is m-my fault anyways..."

((Dalia and Kaotaro. Kaiser is accumalating a h-harem!))

"No it isn't!" she says with surprising force, an intensity in her eyes as she looks at him.

"How is this, in any way, your fault? I'm the one with a weird spine thing. I'm the one that couldn't keep my nanobots in check. You've just been helping. This is in no way your fault."

She stares at him for a second before falling backwards, legs buckling. As she falls, her grip reflexively tightens, and she ends up accidentally bringing Kaiser with her- right down on top of her, as the blanket spills away.

Kaiser blushes, and is motionless for a time, before he scrambles off her and sits up.

"Uh, s-sorry..."

Kaotaro is silent for a long time, face red, though from exertion or embarrassment or something else is hard to tell. She pushes herself to a sitting position, and sits there, staring at her hands for a while.

"I-..."

She starts to speak again, but falls silent before any words leave her mouth, face getting redder.

"I need to get dressed...b-but..."

Kaiser quickly spins on his butt to avoid slapping, now facing the door.

"B-b-but w-what?"

"I-I don't know if I can, right now...not by myself..."

The embarassment can be heard in her voice, it's so thick.

"Sh-should I... h-help y-y-you?"

Kaiser blushes bright red.

"N-no, th-that's a s-stupid idea, I'll... er, th-think of um, s-something."

Kaotaro speaks suddenly, bowing deeply to Kaiser -  a fact which he knows only because she bowls over right afterwards, since she's still not steady on her feet.

She looks up at him, pleadingly.

"Please..."

Kaiser slowly turns around, looking away from her.

"...o-okay. Uh, h-how do I-I... W-what do you w-want to wear?"

Dalia has absolutely no idea of the embarrassment that Kaiser is experiencing, but she heard banging coming from Kaotaro's room so she gets up and knocks on the door, yelling, "Hey? Are you all alright in there? I thought I heard someone falling or something. Are you two okay?"

Kaiser looks at the door, then looks at Kaotaro.

I'm going to die here.

He quickly puts the blanket back around her.

"S-she's, uh, s-still having t-tr-trouble with m-moving her b-body around, a-and she f-fell out of b-bed."

((we should probably wait for RPG. Stupid timezones))

"Oh. Okay. Um... Do you need my help?" she asks in a way that's clear she's just trying to be polite and obviously doesn't want to help.

((I know. Nothing says that they can't shout through the door in the meantime though.))
