he should have gained only 1 level. so only 4 points of stats, no perks

Alucard leveled up in V2. I thought we got perks at Lvl. 2, or at least that's how it was in V2.

in this we get perks at level 5, also I think our levels reset. or did they?

Plus a lot of us had perks from V2 which Elf didn't roll for, which we got at Lvl. 1.

Levels have reset, because otherwise we might have lvl10's running around ruining everything for everyone.
