Should I up the damage on weapons to speed up combat?

No, it's a good pace already.

No, I don't want to die faster.

Sure, Ethereal needs to die!

Yeah, It's a bit slow.

No, you should make the effects have steeper penalties to quicken it; not artificially enhancing the damage.

If you don't want to auto attack, then:

Ethereal looks at the crushed foe, laughs like a maniac, then points at it and shouts "BECAUSE PONIES!" Then uses his dagger to try to sever the nearest enemy  weapon-wielding arm, shrieking "PONIES" at the top of his lungs. Within, the internal system aligns as he prays more furiously to the great, benevolent Pony Lord God Xanadu.

Niru looks for the back door.
[10] Niru found the back door.
Take the mortar and pestle and walk on over to Warren and Dan.
Alexandra takes the stuff and headed over to them. They were both waiting for something, those she wasn't sure what.
Wait.
Watch and wait.
Dan and Warren wait, watching the small horde. It seemed they were still focused on that one alley way.

[50][4] Once more, Ethereal leaped out at the club-wielding host. This time, his strike landed. However it only did superficial damage and the host easily shrugs it off.
Quote from: Unintelligent AI
Host One: Remain Dead
Host Two: Continue assault on Ethereal's right leg.
Host Three: Bash Ethereal's head.
Host Four: Attack Ethereal's left leg.
Host Five: Drag Host One's corpse out if the way.
[21,74,67][16,13] Three hosts continue attacking, and only one misses. The other two land solid hits on Ethereal. His head hurts and his left leg is hurting much worse than it was before. The remaining diseased drags the dead one away from the fighting.

Hey, I think now would be a good time to get going. You're all here, mostly, and the horde seems very distracted. I suppose that's nice of Ethereal to do for you all. Another thing, this isn't much of a request.

Niru looks out the back door for infected, if there aren't many then go inform the others that we can head out that way, if there are a large number then compare with the number in the front and head out whichever way seems safest.

((Nor is my loaf of Bread, Bottle of Water or Gummy Bears))

Warren follows behind Alexandra, looking in each direction but not wanting to go ahead of the gun. His axe is hefted and ready to use.

Ah, yeah, sorry about that. I'll fix it when I can get to a computer. I rushed that update a bit. >_> That may also be in part due to the fact that my notes are unavailable to me. I don't think I'll try another update this week, so sorry.

Niru looks out the back door for infected, if there aren't many then go inform the others that we can head out that way, if there are a large number then compare with the number in the front and head out whichever way seems safest.
[9,1,15,5,18] Peering outside, Niru saw that there was still a fair amount of hosts wandering about. He counted approximately 13 of them, however four of them looked healthier and more alert than the others. Recalling having seen this before, Niru realizes that those would be hypers. The diseased all have an assortment of clubs and knives as well as two crudely made spears wielded by a couple of hypers. Thankfully, none of them notice his looking and he safely retreats back inside to tell the others.
((The mortar and pestle that you said I took isn't in my inventory, is this intended?))

Walk outside through the backdoor and load my rifle.
While she tries to load her imaginary rifle, Alexandra goes to the back door only to be stopped by Niru who tells her of the enemies outside.
((Nor is my loaf of Bread, Bottle of Water or Gummy Bears))

Warren follows behind Alexandra, looking in each direction but not wanting to go ahead of the gun. His axe is hefted and ready to use.
Seeing Alexandra go to the rear of the house, Warren readies his axe and follows only to be stopped by the two.
Follow the others, have my sword ready.
Shrugging, Dan blindly follows the others and runs into them while they are talking. They fill him in and try to come up with a plan.

There are several hypers out the back way, lets not go that direction. I suggest going out the front.

Warren grunts, looks around him, then follows.

Niru quietly follows, looking around for infected and avoiding them if possible.
