No, but they start early july; plus school all day. 25-28 isn't even a weekend :(

Say, will people put multiple versions of their projects online? I'd kinda like to see how they evolve over time.

If people use git or some other version control, that certainly could be possible.

Wait, seriously? This isn't even a weekend?

Err... uh. Count me out again, then. ...>_>

I can do a good game in 72 hours, I can't do a good game in 12.

Since the argument for the 72-hour thing was to give people an opportunity to actually clear their schedules for it, from what I understood, that seems super-dumb.

I thought it included the weekend of 28/29 for some reason.

Well, we could just do it on Friday/Saturday/Sunday instead, hah. Worse that happens is that we can't "win" which isn't really saying much I imagine. :3

25-28 is wednesday to saturday, sunday is not included? Doesn't matter for much but then more people could particitipate which would be fun.

Presumably it also ends during the day Saturday. Right now it basically means I'd get Friday night to work on it in anything approaching a decent chunk of effort.

Sorry, didn't consider weekends as I am off the whole lot. Do you like the idea of changing to July 12- July 14th ? or June 27 - June 30th?

EDIT: On reflection June 27 - June 30th sounds the most decent time.

It is just under a fortnight until the contest begins so opening repos would be a good idea at this point:

3 day : here
10 day : here

Is github a requirement or a recommendation? Can we upload our projects elsewhere if we prefer?

It is more of a recommendation, although the repository has to allow online viewing of source code.

Hi

I'll try to participate in both jam, already got projects :

1) a bash tool to manage environment variables & profils (ie, *PATH, *FLAG, *OPTION env variables)
already started it in bash, but i'll start it again from scratch using a mix of languages (arrays aren't that easy to use in bash, and not very portable)
i'll probably support other shells too :D
even batch if i have time

2) games : 1 of :
Quoridor
pacman
bomberman
sokoban

game could have a gui i'ld do later, core would be same and i'll only do ascii (ncurse/pdcurse) for the jam

repository will be on https://github.com/sebbu2/ but I haven't decided names yet

I see a reply on this today. Is this still open??

If so, I'd love to enter for the 72 hour, and a pending for the 10 day. Repositories to come soon as well.
