The essence of DF

Here is something I found today on Youtube. Didnīt believe anyone would ever make a full version of this song staying so true to the movie version. Besides the song, there are my favorite scenes from The Hobbit. Dwarfs building there fortress, dwarfs loosing it, dwarfs reclaiming it ........ aaaand... eventually loosing it again ;) Thats what Dwarf fortress is all about. I know many people donīt like Peter Jacksons interpretation of the Hobbit, but these ironclad dwarfs, their fortress - that was exactly the style I always imagined while playing DF.

A good montage, even though I really hated the actual movies.  When they're walking around it makes me think of the long treks that our 7 Dwarves have to do when they go to found a new fortress.
