Fist-Of-The-Mountain doesn't know where he came from, or who his father or his mother were. The only one who would know is dead.
Up in the mountains, there is a monastery which is completely isolated from the world. They send out their members to find infants who will become the next generation of monks. In the monastery, they lead a life of decadence and hard martial training in celebration of Mhon-kaa. Outside, they lead lives of poverty, both to remind them that others do not have as much, and to emphasize their return.
Fist-Of-The-Mountain was found by Butterfly-On-Water, who raised the young half-ogre as his own son, which may have been the case. When Fist-Of-The-Mountain was teased for his mixed heritage, which became even more mixed as he matured, showing signs of an earthen ancestor, Butterfly-On-Water taught him how to use his size to his advantage, something Butterfly-On-Water had trouble doing, as he was a human.
Fist-Of-The-Mountain's combat skills grew under Butterfly-On-Water's tutelage, until a few months before his 15th arrivalday. That was when the white dragons came.
The white dragons had lived peacefully with the monks, but they must have decided that they were no longer welcome, and descended on the monastery in force.
The monks put up a impressive defense, but they were still slaughtered. The survivors were scattered to the winds, and most of them were eaten by the whites.
Even as the the temple crumbled around them, the abbot, a wizened old man, gave Fist-Of-The-Mountain the Vow of Poverty. The abbot ordered him to flee, and "Be the foundation for another monastery." He fled, trying to ignore the screams of Butterfly-On-Water being swallowed alive, knowing now was not the time to have his revenge.

He ran and ran and ran, only stopping when someone called out his name. This was Sha'n Spensaar, who said that he could help Fist-Of the Mountain rebuild his monastery, but he needed things done first.

Butterfly-on-water sounds like someone who is doomed to die anyways considering the fact that butterflys and water don't mix.

That's a very good point. I may change it to Dragonfly-On-Water.

Shadowhammer, I noticed a couple of things when I was looking over your sheet:
Don't roll for HP at first level. You take the max, which gives you 10 HP at first level.
You can't ride a riding dog, you're too big. It can only carry small sized creatures.
