Tomodachi Life: Is Your Body Ready?

This video explains it better then I ever could. I guess this is what happens when you try to fuse The Sims with Animal Crossing, while drunk.

Right. I think I heard this was still a full $40 release?

No. I'm fine. I'm pretty sure this is for kids who don't have access to smartphone apps and/or flash games. Seriously.

Guys.

No.

Eh, the main people drawn are people who spend way too much time in the Mii maker, such as yours truly, and just watching your little faceless abominations interact and procreate as you try to make their lives as miserable as possible is well worth whatever price it'll be, most likely.

Evidently, I've been thinking of an idea of sorts: What if, we had a very dwarfy mii ("Urist"), and everyone who gets the game inserts said mii in and then procedes to document his glorious adventures amongst their lands? Shall he be blessed with a life of luxury, eventually becoming mayor and giving useless demands to the mii masses below? Or will he run a menial job of pizza hauler while constantly being served his least favorite meals, living with people he hates?

Alternatively, we make some sort of lets play centered around this Urist character and had Bay 12ers upload their own creations to populate his land.

Both those ideas sound like good fun.
The possibilities are endless!

For good reason! It's 20 freaking 14, it's already a gosh darned shame there's no gays in children's cartoons.

I've heard that it was a thing in  earlier versions of the game, but it caused the game to destroy itself due to being either a bug, or sloppily implemented. It had something to do with "men" (or as close to a man that the vaguely humanoid tube that is a mii can be, anyways) getting pregnant, and then proceeding to asplode the game with their man-babies.

I'd say the worst thing is that blue is not a selectable hair color. Cobalt miners cannot accurately portray themselves as a mii due to this gross, irresponsible lack of feature.

How long has Nintendo had this angle to their marketing? I really don't watch advertisements at all but the last two I've seen from Nintendo (This and that robot guy one) seems like they've really upped the angle of being fun, imaginative and taking the mickey out of themselves.

It's... a game largely aimed at children, and people want it to portray gay marriage? O.o

Definitely agree that it should have more hair colours and customization options, though. I mean, they've had the exact same system since Miis first came out... I guess they can't mess with the overall formula too much, but at least some more colours would be nice. :P
Still most likely going to buy this, though.

If it includes hetero marriage, then yes, I don't see why it shouldn't. The existence of gays isn't something which should be hidden away "to protect the children."

There's a gay couple in a Disney Channel show starring a 5-year-old, if that helps you feel better
