That clearly was his attack. Since mine attack is beneath and was intercepted by Nicholas the Unholy. No way for us to clash if Lion was actually defending. As I see his phrase "Make sir Rainor full of holes!", it is an attack.

Well, The Lion rolled lower number, so defense was his and Rainor's was offense by then v:

If The Lion rolled more than Rainor, then The Lion would be getting attack bonuses (if any) and Rainor defensive ones.

Thanks a lot for explaining this. Looking though the initial post I thought that attacker gets +Defence only if he gets attacked by someone else, not on his own attack roll.
