"Defend! Tighten the flank!" Yelled Commander Deltarius as the Palatine lines, after evening the odds, were in danger of getting heavy casualties.

Ulfgar von Wulfenheim roared and jumped upon the commander. "Nay, wretched rebel." And with quick, gentle slash at the throat of Ulfgar, the neck was cut open. Blood gushed like a fountain, bathing Deltarius's armor as Ulfgar von Wulfenheim tumbled forward and crashed onto the ground, not uttering a word whilst his soul left the corpse.

Lord Nathan Bladeheart clearly enjoyed a little more defense and kept his shield at ready.

Just as Deltarius was done staring at corpse of Ulfgar, he noticed Crossy McCann and Ranger McBolt; the duo dutifuly reloading their tools of death and destruction.

Miss Penny then went after Crossy, intending to stab him to death. However, the first strike merely poked Crossy McCann in the side, not even piercing the thick layer of iron rings. And the second strike didn't come as Crossy quickly moved away, now aware that someone was after him.

Meta-Knight in the meanwhile positioned his shield low and bull-rushed at Ranger McBolt! The shield struck the unprepared crossbowman in the face and he tumbled backwards, bleeding from broken nose and cut chin.

Drake Knight then lifted his shield and stood in front of Crossy McCann to protect him from further advances of Miss Penny, or others if they dare to try.

The shield held high and defensive stance clearly saved Drake Knight's life; a bolt struck with mighty force a moment later, knocking Drake Knight a little and shield lifted upwards along with Drake's arm, the bolt sailing upwards and then falling onto the ground. Drake Knight could clearly see a dent in upper part of his shield; if that bolt wasn't stopped, Drake Knight would propably have a crater instead of face now.

As the battle raged, Sir Hansan II assaulted Meta-Knight, striking him with the morning star in the side. As Meta-Knight stumbled away, the Lady engraved on his shield sung a quiet litany and green aura washed over Meta-Knight, healing the bruise and lessening the pain; in meanwhile, Drake Knight huffed as the sizzling wound closed a bit more, the draconic blood regenerating his body.

Gaston LaFou replaces his fallen comrade of Team B!
Team A still fights defensively.
Team B is now fighting normally.
