The Palatine conquered all. The coasts, the deep forests, the tall mountains. All the people in region belond to the Palatine. The vast theocracy rules with iron fist, not letting a heretic nor infidel run away and live.

And besides the conquered, there are those who submitted before any bloodshed happened. That was the case of the small Kingdom of Yerusalea. And lo, the Palatine was merciful, and put a tribute of hundred of maidens and thousand squires and ten thousand of gold nuggets each five years.

And five years after submission, the Great Inquisitor Maxus Pattun came to the city square of the largest Yerusalean city and unto the people he spoketh:

"Bringeth upon me the hundred of maidens and thousand of squires and ten thousand of gold nuggets, or else Palatine shall wreck doom upon your land."

And Yerusaleans complied.

And ten years after submission, the Great Inquisitor Theomil Apadre came to the city square of the largest Yerusalean city and unto the people he spoketh:

"Bringeth upon me the hundred of maidens and thousand of squires and ten thousand of gold nuggets, or else Palatine shall wreck doom upon your land."

And Yerusaleans complied.

And fifteen, and twenty, and twenty-five, and thirty, and thirty-five years, and forty years after submission, the Great Inquisitors came to Yerusalean greatest city, proclaimed the demands, and Yerusaleans complied.

And then, forty-five years after submission, the Great Inquisitor Radagor Micah came to the city square of the largest Yerusalean city and unto the people he spoketh:

"Bringeth upon me the hundred of maidens and thousand of squires and ten thousand of gold nuggets, or else Palatine shall wreck doom upon your land."

And it was that moment, when from between the people came forth a young man in armor and with sheathed sword, and he said:

"Fuck thee."

And in that very moment, the people of Yerusalea drawn their weapons and stabbed the Great Inquisitor to death and dumped his body in the river, and slaughtered the entourage from Palatine before they could run away.

Two weeks later the borders were set aflame, because lo and behold the wrath of Palatine was terrible. Villages burned, people slaughtered, and livestock stolen. But the Palatine too long have bathed in its own vanity, and its forces cannot go to the heart of Yerusalea to kill the heathens who dared to revolt against the Followers of God.

And two large armies finally met; the black cross over red field, the Palatine banner, under command of Holy Duke Damon Marocas; the simple bright blue cloth, the Yerusalean banner, under command of their brave young Prince Salem.

And spoketh unto Yerusaleans the Holy Duke:

"Know thee my mercy, and lay down thy weapons, and thou shalt be spared of slaughter."

And then spoketh unto the Holy Duke no one else but Prince Salem:

"Go fuck thy mother, wretched cur, son of whores of Palatine, bum-licker of the God, and never thou dare blight these fine lands with thy rotten breath again! This is the answer of Free Yerusaleans, who shall not again pay tribute to the tyrants!"

And the battle have thusly begun. Victory or death, nothing else possible, yet the future lingered upon this very battle.
