Eh, no need to worry about SAR.1. He'll probably mutate into a giant monster before the mission ends anyways. You know how fast that stuff works. Anyways...

Divert all teams to Washington Park.

We can always let the other guys mop up zombies terrorists. A bioweapon going off in Washington is going to be bad no matter what.

Alpha, get topside and move to bravo's position.
Bravo, take defensive positions around the building in case the terrorists try to retake the building.
Charlie, reroute to the CBDC specialist team at Washington Park.

Need to keep our friend in the casket watched...or tale him somewhere safer.

Almost forgot, since they would've discussed this with BSAA that are down there with them, you know that Stone has decided to proceed with his team down the tunnel to see if any of Phagan's team is alive. They're not attached to your command anyways so it doesn't really matter unless you plan to go with them.

We'll go down with them and follow behind closely (but not to be seen), in case this is a trap. If we are seen explain who we are and why we did what we did.

Sometimes I just sit there with the turn format in an open reply tab for hours without typing anything.

EDIT: Which is exactly what I'm doing right now.

-Operation Greenmeal-
BSAA Command Station
: Alright. Everyone clear on the Commander's orders..? Excellent, I want regular reports from all squads.

Chris removes his headphones momentarily and runs a hand roughly through his hair. He growls.

: Next time I'm going with them..

Alpha - Subway
"Will do sir, it'll take some time. [Let's move guys! We've got some running to do!]"

Bravo - Factory
SBR.2, 3, 4 and 6 each head outside and take a corner. Meanwhile 1 and 5 take cover near the South entrance and wait.

Charlie - Streets
They reroute to Washington Park. A few minutes later. "This is Charlie, we should be nearing the Park. - [That didn't take long.] - [Everyone get ready.]"

The truck pulls up at the south edge of the park.

: We're compiling a basic map of the area using our satellite feeds, Commander. Standby.

Spoiler: Washington Park Map (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Enlarged (click to show/hide)

: Our men will proceed from the south near the main entrance. Those stone walls are 20 feet tall, so that gate is the best way in. CBDC's specialists are engaged near the large structure to the extreme north, that's the Freedom Memorial.

: This large area in the middle is dominated by a large monument. Proceeding right from there is a small hedge maze and further along that path is a tall commissioned art piece. To put it simply it's a large, unenclosed concrete structure that serves a good vantage point. Past that is a tennis court surrounded by a chain link fence, and then a clear area that leads up to the Memorial.

: Proceeding left is a large sitting area with benches, and the large area to the north is completely open and covered in grass. That agent we talked to earlier reports he's got a squad pinned down in that area as well, but they aren't accompanied by specialists so they're a completely secondary objective. Aside from that, there are small skirmishes going on throughout the area.

Charlie has exited the vehicle by now, leaving it by the curb. They move quickly. "Sir, I'm hearing a lot of gunfire." They reach the main gate. "It's locked. It's nearly as tall as the wall, but I think we can climb over."

How feasible is it to find a vantage point for R.4? I'd like to put his sniping skills to the challenge but I doubt he can fire from on top of a wall.

Also couldn't Charlie just shoot the lock off? Just get up close with a pistol and blast it. I'd doubt anyone would hear it over the gum fire already going on.

There are buildings tall enough to see over the walls. The structure of the park and the abundance of hedges as tall obstacles mean he can only cover 1 of the large areas at a time, and if he wants to cover a different one he'll have to relocate to another structure. The walls would give him vantage if you could find a way to get him up there.

The gunfire is distant. Probably coming from further within the park. But yes you've no way of knowing if anyone is around to hear. The lock is built into the gate. If you shot it, you would just make it more locked.

Think about an iron wrought gate.

Spoiler: Example (click to show/hide)

Bullets would not destroy an iron gate's hinges. Maybe if they were set in old, crumbling stone.
