On a game related note, what would the expected cost and recovery times be for a high-end bionic/cybernetic/"Whatever you wanna call it" arm be, if an existing one was removed in that process?

Before you say "bioaugs", no.
Mechanical arms are cool.
Even if they're fairly close in appearance to normal arms aside from color and maaaaybe some glowy-bits for aesthetics, they're cool.

Also, in terms of ground vehicles, what are we going to be able to expect? Namely in the motorcycle/bike area?

Recovery time for in good facilities can be days, however the time it will take for the nerves to interface with the limb will around two months. Military grade (Built in weapons/armored/other functions.) would be normally unavailable, on the black market it would cost more then a small shuttle. Civilian models in the normal market would cost about double the cost of the ingame equivalent of a small fast ground based vehicle. In poor facilities then it can take months for recovery from the actual surgery and there can be complications.

In terms of ground vehicles, you will find quite the variety. When you get to the planet you are currently trying to visit, some stuff will happen.

Also I may just end up making the ship go at the speed of plot as soon as you stop yourself from all dying from the bucket and one other thing.

*Edit: Well, it does for recovery time and whatnot, not so much for costs. Oh well.

About that one other thing, just roll the previous action again. Unless something else happens, it's the only logical thing for H to do.
