Barthus rolled on the floor, suspended between heaven and hell. All at once however, there was a great blast of light, and his chest wounds closed. Barthus reached out his hand.

Then all at once, the lovely shadow disappeared, perhaps off to service another. Alack! WOE! The blacksmith rose hastily, but it was clear that the virtuous maiden who had healed him was gone. The only healer here was a priest. A very manly priest. Sighing a most manly sigh, he hefted his Hatchet over his shoulder.

Lost in thought, he bumbled over to the pillar at 9,8, his hand coursing through his beard of thinking.

Staunching the wounds with a healer's implements did more good than was able--consciousness hovering back and forth was a strange experience, with every bit of pain feeling like a stinging wave, edging on the periphery of thought.

Daethwin smiles shyly, flushing, a new look for the bard, and backpedals over to Runa.

"Want a hand?"

Daethwin tried to help the archer up, humming a fast-paced tune that made one think of the city. Not burning cities though. Hopefully not, anyway...

Move to 6.9 and rejuvenate Runa

"Th-thank you..." Runa runs over to (8,10) and heals Elvira, noticing the many wounds on the princess.

Noel watched Daethwin run off, debating on whether or not to say anything, but eventually settled for his usual silence and turned to face the enemies once more. He still owed Elvira for not leaving him in the streets, and helping her with these foes would help repay her.

Josephine accepted Daethwin's aid as she heard the clattering of boots in the other room. The others did a lot better than her again, and she was pulling the rest down.

Teary-eyed, she gave the bard a thankful nod.

Looking at Runa dealing with those around her, Dimitri decided to stick with the other group of his newfound allies.

"Thank you for your aid. Now then, I believe Jake can take whatever's in those chests, as it may help us, while me and presumably most everyone else advances onward. Someone should stay with jake to make sure the archer falls, at the very least."
