There was a strong acrid sort of sound, as of air being split open by impossibility, followed by a scream of terror and then the quiet clank of now-empty armor falling to the stone floor. The side of Noel's mouth quirked up in a smile.

Dying wasn't as bad as she always feared it would be. Sure her last wound had been rather excruciating, but it had quickly gone cold and even now was fading to a dull ache...

Then she realized that she could still hear the raging battle, and that someone was speaking to her. She opened her eyes, more for the benefit of her rescuer than any real hope that her eyes had somehow been cured.

She laughs and pushes him forward, a short, crisp melody flowing out of her as she did so, reminiscent of bells and caroling. And of course, with entirely different lyrics than the original song was likely composed with...rather less celibate ones.

"And don't forget to save some of that medicine for me, too~"

Noel looked over at the commoner archer, who had managed to get herself severely wounded again.

"Perhaps you should heed your own advice, and move away from the wall? The enemies on the other side sound very heavily armored; leave them for me instead. You would be better off near the front, where our foes aren't so... defended."

Dimitri lets out a somewhat amused noise at the performer's urging.
:"Alright, I'm going! I can get these two..."
He sets off running, giving Kosko a funny look, but dashes to heal Barthus and Sarah.

Josephine heard the others' comments and glanced aside. The javelin was much more accurate than she predicted, and only through Runa's quick hands did it not penetrate deep enough to only clatter uselessly at the side.

I told you to leave me behind Elvira. Trained soldiers don't do this.

She gave Runa an apologetic expression and looked down the corridor, past the bodies of the others to focus and perhaps hide her welling tears.
