Both of your legs look like sausages, it hurts to walk, you hear cracking whenever you move your legs, and your ears are ringing so badly you can't hear.

Kayla takes you back to the wine celler and grabs some wine grapes. "Alright, takes these and put them in the juicing press, remember to remove branches and stems."

Okays. Riko walks over to the wine press, strips the branches, and puts the grapes in.

Get back to the merc camp, and go to the clinic.

Alunk turns to her and says "Well, she can keep half. Only half. Ye hear me, lass?"

Okays. Riko walks over to the wine press, strips the branches, and puts the grapes in.

The juice collects in a jug under the juicer, and Kayla puts a wooden cork on it. "Now we just store it away for a few years, and it will be good wine."

"Crap."

Get back to the merc camp, and go to the clinic.

You wobble down back to camp and a few soldiers help you to the clinic. Its a few minutes before you're seen, the doctor busy with others already. Eventually a cleric comes over to your bed. He is an old man with no hair, wrinkled skin, and dull grey eyes. "Hm... Looks like you got a little hot under the collar. Or, under your feet should I say?" He chuckles under his breath. "But, joking aside, mind telling me how this happened son?"

Alunk turns to her and says "Well, she can keep half. Only half. Ye hear me, lass?"

Her eyes shot open and she clutches the gems to her chest and lays with her stomach on the ground. "NO! MY BABIES! MINE, MINE, MINE!"

Okays, that'll take a while I think.

((I think it's a little funny that Kayla is trying to avoid letting Riko know she eats humans since Riko has done that several times in the past out of curiosity and living with a vampire who is quite capable of fulfilling that request.))

The doctor examines everything. Both of your legs are broken, your right arm is broken, and you're deaf in one of your ears. "Wow, you got really messed up son. You're gonna need surgery to fix your legs. We need to cut the cooked flesh off of your legs, and then use magic to grow it."

(Its as hard as the RNG decides to make it.)

"What's yer name, lass?"

She growls at you before answering. "Alksa." She peeks at the gems under her and then says the name of her "babies."

"Alska, if ye give me half o' those, I will give ye half o' the gems I mine. If ye don't, I won't give yet any."

Kayla nods and heads back up to the kitchen, and puts the meats you cooked onto plates for the both of you.

"Alska, if ye give me half o' those, I will give ye half o' the gems I mine. If ye don't, I won't give yet any."

She gripped them harder and scooched away a little. "MY BABIES!" Kindrik sighs and shakes his head. "Look, she can make stuff with them, and once she "they grow up and get a house," once she makes something with them,she lets them go."

"Well, will I make it Doc?"

"You'll walk with a limp the rest of your life, but at least that life will be long."
